Power Armor Landing SFX

Description
-----------

This is a quick mod I designed to be used with Power Armor Footstep SFX by Kerghan, and indeed using his assets (courtesy of Infirnis, and Megaherz, and Doctor Who apparently) so that they match. In order for this mod to make sense you must download his mod here:

<http: www.fallout3nexus.com downloads>

This mod replaces the 'landing' sounds to that including an overdub of the power armored footstep sound effect, played twice with a .10s interval, and the original land sound is 6Db louder to make sure it isn't drowned out. After all, it would be louder given the weight of PA. The 'landhard' sound is also replaced with the original PA footstep from his release version, which includes a hydraulic stabilizer sound.

Sadly I don't know how to build .esp files or do scripting in FOSE, so this will make the clompy sound effects play even when the PC is not wearing power armor. If you get tired of using Power Armor [HERESY], remember to delete the files included herein. That should revert the sounds back to the default sounds.

If anyone would like to make a .esp to do this more effectively that would be great. Really all the credit for this should be directed to Kerghan, and if he is still around and wants to include this in a later release of Power Armor Footstep SFX, then thats cool, and probably better. If something happens to that effect I will remove this mod to save confusion.

Install
-------

Merge the unzipped 'Data' folder with your fallout 3 folder, typically, <program>.

Make sure your bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 in you Fallout.ini. or use FOMM to do that

Uninstall
---------

Simply delete everything in the folder <program>.

Tools used - FOMM and Audacity.</program></program></http:>
