So, I also had issues with Darn, iHUD, aHUD and UIO. What fixed the problem for me was a comment made by MattB2020 on the aHUD page.
DISCLAIMER: I cannot guarantee this solution will work for you. I'm no expert in HUD mods, XML files, and UIO.
"Now right-click the Adjustable HUD mod and select Open in explorer. Open menus\prefabs\aHUD and copy "hudtemplates_darn.xml" In the prefabs folder create a new folder named darn, then open this new folder. Paste the "hudtemplates_darn.xml" file into this folder, then rename it "hudtemplates.xml". (this is important!) It will then be used in the game instead of the version of this file in Darn UI Support for FWE.
This is what you need to do in order to get aHUD to actually move elements. I deleted the existing "hudtemplates.xml" file in my darn folder in my FO3 data. then i pasted in "hudtemplates_darn.xml" and renamed it to "hudtemplatyes.xml" (it's "template", not "templatyes") booted the game and bang i could move s#*! finally. what a lovely fix, i found this here - https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Kelmych/Fallout3"
Additional Information for my particular case. I installed the UI mods I wanted in following order: 1º - All JIP mods; 2º - Darnfied; 3º - iHUD; 4º - aHUD. Only after installing them all, I did what MattB2020 suggested. I activated UIO last. I was using Mod Organizer, so the priority order in the left panel was the following: - JIP Fast-travel - JIP Selective Fire - JIP Realistic Weapon Overheating - Darnfied - iHUD - aHUD - UIO.
I'm testing this for the past 45 minutes and things are working. I have yet to test with FWE and other mods that add or change UI/HUD elements to see if things stop working. That is all, folks!
For me only the Crosshair disappears, nothing else like HP or VATS energy. I've tried using the older version and I've also tried using UIO with it. Nothing works.
Something is wrong. The mod makes the crosshairs disappear but the hitpoints and the action points never go away, no matter how much I tweak and play with the settings. I am running it with only UIO and FOSE.
Any way to fix the issue with my compass, sneak messages, and ammo on my equipped gun not showing up? It was working fine with Darn UI before I installed iHud, Adjustable HUD, and the UI manager. Im assuming iHud is the reason the messages stopped, where would I find the setting for it.

how do i do that ? the letter i is too far from my left i wanted to change the shortcut key to show the HUDs

No matter what I do, can't seem to fix It.
Sad... I hate to play with UI :'(
