Alright kiddo, pay attention now.
You take the single file esp " included in the .zip archive, and then drag it to,
Computer -> (C:) -> Program Files -> Bethesda Softworks -> Fallout 3 -> Data
And you stick it in that there Data folder. Then you launch the Fallout 3 launcher, select "Data Files" then activate the file "RR Dace Ghoul Companion Mod". Then launch Fallout 3.
For all of you Fallout Mod Manager users (like my good self), you should already know how to do things, and I'm too lazy to go in an in-depth explanation. So you're on your own.
Anyway, you probably already knew all of that. I'm just using this section as an artificial readme expansion. Why do you think there's an empty line in between every other line? Ta ha.

3. Descriptive Description (Not Really)
====================================================================================================
This adds a Ghoul Companion to Megaton (Brass Lantern) named Dace.
When you meet him, I think you'll find he looks like a pretty classy guy. Sure, most of his skin may have rotted away, but that's still one cool kat. Gotta nice lookin' suit that would make Caesar himself jealous. Well. It's got a little dust and grime on it, but otherwise, that's a real kick-arse suit, man. Real classy. Yeah. And just look at those shades! Oh man, only a badass would wear something like that. And then...wait a second. Does he have pink hair?
No no. That's violet. Never...ever ever ever...accuse Dace of having pink hair. That's his berserk button. And he'll hack off your arms, legs, then your...*ahem* "other" leg, and then rip your frickin' face off if you dare call his hair pink. I've seen him do it, wo/man.
...
He also has a pretty nice goatee...
SPECIAL NOTE: Please take following of this special special note, that Dace, is currently, just a "normal" RR Vault Companion, meaning he shares his dialogue with the generic Vault companions. So his dialogue isn't as "exciting". I probably will add in some unique dialogue later down the line, but for now, just pretend he hates you and he's only following you around because you owe him $5 or something. Roleplay is great.
While I probably will add dialogue to him, because I love this character, it's unlikely I'll remove the reliance on RR Vault. I very much like that mod, and am a bit too lazy to design something as extraordinary unfortunately.

3a. Dace's Specifics (Weapons/Technical Data)
====================================================================================================
Level: 1 - Scales up with the player's.
Class: Sniper
Race: Ghoul
Alignment: Neutral - He doesn't really give a damn, but he's not heartless enough to eat a kitten.
Confidence: Foolhardy - He'll willingly spit in a Deathclaw's face and say "Whatcha gonna do about it, b****?".
Essential: No
-Sorry, I don't believe in essential companions. Much more fun if anyone can die. To make up for this, and to keep him from being "flimsy", he has about as much health as Charon, and his unique weapon is fast, and pretty damn dangerous (have a look at the screenshots to see what I mean). I actually went through a few ALPHA versions JUST to rebalance him and his weapon, because he was killing more targets than all of my companions COMBINED. God(s) have mercy for whoever encounters him, because he sure as hell won't.
Weaknesses:
-Assuming you don't equip him with, say...Enclave Hellfire Armor or T-51b Power Armor (which are probably better used on more heavy hitters or REALLY squishy companions), if Dace gets swarmed in melee, he can become overpowered and killed. This is easily avoided by bringing backup.
Equipment:
(x1) Grimy Business Suit
(x1) Tortiseshell Glasses
(x274) .308 Caliber Rounds
(x1) Silent Violet
-Silent Violet is a sniper rifle unique to Dace. It's basically a Reservist's Rifle, only with a larger clip size, and...it's silent! Well anyway, this makes Dace somewhat useful (or not) on your insurgency missions.

4. Location
====================================================================================================
Dace recently stopped by Megaton to visit his good friend, Gob. And he was staying over at Moriarty's until some bigot accused the zombie of having pink hair...
Well anyway, he was thrown out, and ended up in the Brass Lantern instead. You should be able to find him there, inside, trying to order some Squirrel Stew.

5. What the FAQ?
====================================================================================================
Q: Help! Dace is doing something he isn't supposed to! How can I get him to stop!?
A: Well, you see, Dace hates authority figures, and-I DON'T KNOW. Depends on the problem. Might want to have a look at Nos' FAQ, as Dace runs on his script templates.
http://nosmods.blogspot.com/2010/04/rr-companions-vault-faq.html
Q: Can Dace take care of himself in battle?
A: Didn't you read above? ...Nevermind. Yes, Dace can hold himself pretty well in battle. Especially after leveling up with the player. In mods such as, Mart's Mutant Mod for example, he can still dish out hell pretty decently. Though in those mods, you may want to bring some backup. Dace is a one man army, but even those can be overwhelmed.
Q: Dace ran off somewhere, and I can't find him. What do I do?
A: He probably decided to go on vacation or something. He likes Vegas, so he'd probably be there. Too bad there's an invisible wall in the capital wasteland that prevents you from leaving. Don't ask me how Dace got out, he's cool like that.
Q: But he ran off in the middle of combat and hasn't come back...
A: Yeah, Dace is weird like that. Like I said. Vacation.
A: Alright, if you want a "real" answer. NPC follower AI can get funky sometimes. Trekking across "unstable" terrain, jumping off cliffs, etc. Can make NPC's wander off a bit. A potential way to solve this is to wait where you're at for a bit (rest menu). If that doesn't work, just continue with your adventures. They usually show up again eventually. On occasion, companions can also disappear as soon as you enter a cell, which often happens if the cell has been modded extensively. Or just as a random flux. Once again, just keep moving on, and they'll probably show up eventually.
Q: Where the hell is Dace even AT? I looked over your readme, and went to Moriarty's. He wasn't there.
A: Bloody skimmer. You should read that again, if you read a bit further like a good person instead of using your evil skimming ways, you would've seen he was at the bloody Brass Lantern.
Q: Oh...Well. I'm sorry, I ju-
A: No no. Don't say a bloody word. It's out in the air now, you didn't read it. You skimmed it. Now we have to live with it.
Q: Can we expect more companion mods from you? :D
A: Hmm. Yeah probably. I had a lot of fun making Dace (granted, it only took me 5 minutes to actually CREATE the mod, but coming up with his concept was pretty fun). If I do make more companion mods though, be warned that they won't be eye candy ones. I prefer to focus on the character than the body. That doesn't necessarily mean they won't be female however.
Q: Why did you make this mod?
A: Ta ha. Alright, I'll bite that one. You see, while I do enjoy the occasional eye candy mod to add to my game, there's just too many out there. And it goes double for companions. No offense to the authors who made them, they're great work. It's just I don't want an all female party of femme fatales "raiding" the Enclave. It breaks my immersion.
There's also not too many male companions out there. So much that it's not ENOUGH of a sausage fest. Least not of the RR Vault variety. Which made me a bit sad, because Nos' work is quite genius. Nor are there many Ghoul companions (I think the only one of the RR variety I've found was Argyle.)
So yeah. That's my "reasoning".
Q: Why is his hair pi...err...violet?
A: Ta ha. That's a funny question. And I think we're gonna skip it.
Q: B-
A: No.

6. Mod Conflictions / Bugs
====================================================================================================
Mod Conflictions:
Brisa Almodovar
-Possible Confliction with Brisa Almodovar, as reported by Brent. When Dace goes to heal you with a stimpack, she perceives it as a threat. Currently testing, and finding a solution.
-Solution currently: Leave one of them at home while you adventure.
Bugs:
Once again, none that I know of. To make sure, I did quite a bit of extensive testing with this. Loaded it up with dozens of mods, and started TWO new games with different load orders. And took the Ghoul everywhere. Didn't have a problem, no crashes. There could always be something, and if you'd report any of that something if you find it, I'd be obliged.

Nos ... The ever so brilliant creator of RR Companions Vault that Dace runs on.
Michael Valentine ... Err. Myself I guess.
Bethesda ... For making the game of course.
Anyway, have fun. I sure as hell did.
