I was severely disappointed with Bethesda's implementation of radiation sickness in this game, particularly after fighting for my life against radiation in Stalker. This mod is hopefully the first of a number of mods that will make radiation and illness a dangerous part of the game again.

Radiation sickness will now incur base health reductions, damage resistance reductions, and poison resistance reductions in larger increments over each level. If you're irradiated in the field, you now have to use RadAway and protection gear to survive. At early levels radiation can be lethal, and at higher levels you can't just wait to skip home and use your lab kit to purge your radiation sickness.

* Version 1.1 adds Action Point reductions to each level as well as the health drop. It also makes your character Glow in the Dark at 600 rads and become Radioactive at 800 rads, where you slowly cook until you die or heal yourself.

The exact figures of the changes are included in the readme file; health drops start at 30 and max out at 220, so you won't drop dead from sickness but you can't engage in combat like nothing is wrong with you.
