USE THIS MOD AT YOUR OWN RISK
This simple mod improves some of the Big Guns in the game. It increases the Minigun's base damage from 5 to 8 and the Eugene Minigun's base damage from 7 to 11. The durability of both weapons has also been increased by 500.
The bullet spread has also been tightened from 2-5 to 1.5-4, approximately equal to the Assault Rifle, increasing range and accuracy. The Gatling Lasers are still vastly more accurate than their projectile counterparts, so their effective DPS remains much higher except at very close range.
To install, place in the 'Data' folder of your Fallout 3 directory. Start the Fallout 3 launcher and go to 'Data Files'. Check the file and exit. Start the game. Please read up on how to install mods for Fallout 3 if you have any other problem.
There shouldn't be any problems with this mod but please remember to back up before installing.
Feel free to tweak this mod to your liking. Refer to the modding thread on the Bethseda forums for details of how to edit the values.
