Holy s***, I managed to fix the fingers skin texture issue! Here's a before and after:
And here's the download link: https://mega.nz/file/wdkQXbCK#2j7DNMmtjS6DOSNrharm_s_egKGLB8xEXmL9c4IhTC4
I removed the branch/node/whatchamacallit that involved the actual hand (in contrast to the one involving the glove) and copy-pasted in the one from the original mesh.
The most suspect difference I could see between the two is that LordInquisitor's one didn't have any "Match Group" when the original did have a couple hundred IIRC, but I have no idea what that means.
The problem with the see-through gaps I sadly couldn't solve (hence why I'm not uploading this as a new mod yet) but at least this will make it work flawlessly in 1st person.
Thats just because every NiNode(individual meshes within a .nif file) has a set texture, in order to make things like mashups etc, and so u dont have to completely redo the UVs for textures etc., normal
Not just the race, but the fingers' texture isn't even the same. It's too low-quality, as if it were a LOD texture or a mip-map or some of those words.
Awesome mod! I've always wanted someone to re-texture the pipboy glove, but this is the next best thing because it gives a lot more detail and clarity to what is supposed to be an important part of your pipboy and thus the player. The only downside is that the skin tone of the left hand does not match the player at all.
You could fix the hand color texture changing by making just the glove have texture and make the fingers use base character texture since the pipboy and glove are technically equipped by the pc/npc and can be removed by console. Thus if the texture ends at the the glove and does not continue past it the fingers will have proper race texture. would also allow people to see the gloves of what ever they are wearing extending past the pipboy glove.

The glove mesh shows gaps caused by flipped normals and I am not able to change the mesh with the tweaked one I did in Blender.
UVs are...okay, that's the smalles problem.
Good Idea, but... no, sorry.
Original lefthandpipboyglove.nif:
1st NiTriShape uses textures "handmale…", 2nd NiTriShape uses textures "pipboyglove…"

I didn't check lefthandpipboyglove1st.

This causes the left hand not to match the person's race (PC and NPCs), at least when using FOOK.
Anyone got an idea on how to fix it?
also the Skin tone dosen't match my players race
