You know, this could become a lovely mod. I think you should make all the uniques in Fallout 3 base game to have a Gold plated texture and slightly better stats.
It will make them much more unique than the terrible uniques the base game has...

Oh yes, sorry, the stats are altered so that it is likely to give a one hit kill (I will power it down if you think that is too powerful). And, I forgot to mention, it is on the desk in the corner of your suite.
P.S I knew Microsoft doesn't make Paint.Net, I was......erm......taking a survey to see how many stupid, ignorant people there are that thought that.
