************* Mod No Longer Supported By Author *********
I have not supported this mod for over 2 years now seeing as I do no have the time or interest for FO3. So please no I do not intent to update this mod now or ever, if somebody makes third party-support patches as long as not duplicating the original content I am fine with that.

But Please know because of agreements made with CG! long ago I am not allowing anyone to use the contents of this mod for their own mod compilation or w/e iteration of such.

Besides this mod is old and probably unstable with whatever content that has changed since I have worked on it, why even bother...

*************Sound Fix for Movies Released*************
A sound fix is now available regarding the missing audio for the movies. It is available through any of the mirror links, but is available only through rapidshare. The fix, fixes the sound on all movies installed. No matter what package combination, and no matter if one or more movies are missing. If you later install a new package, the fix needs to be run again.

What Does it Fix: All themes except the Love Theme (was already fine).

Installation: You do not have to put the install into the FO3 folder. But, the target installation needs to be set to your Fallout 3 install location as the location of where to install the fix. *(NOTE: DO NOT INSTALL INTO SUBFOLDERS)* After each file you will need to press "Done". The fix will start immediately after installation.

Size of Fix: the sound fix requires twice the amount of data space that the movies required.

Version 2.8.0 Has been released, grab the new mod from the files section and movies from the "Mirrors" tab.

Please look in the forums first for solutions to problem or getting help. PM's sent to me complaining and saying it doesn't work without a detailed bug report will be ignored, be adult don't whine like a child to me.

Description
===========
Complete Overhaul of the Megaton House. Redesigned internal and external architecture that matches the larger house. New default furniture and storage Inclusion of a large basement with several fun and useful features like weapon displays and Armory storage along with Item sorter that sorts all your items into all the appropriate house containers.

Location
========
Megaton Town of course. Obtain the house through the normal vanilla quest, and purchase all themes and addons from Moira. To obtain basement access you must complete a mini quest Hint: Read the computer

Feature Details
=======
Redone Themes:
All Vanilla themes have been completely redone from scratch to not only fit the new architecture of the house but also provide totally rethought designs as well. No longer will themes be a few pieces of sparse furniture and loot, but larger amounts of new furniture decorations, items, and floor covering that will truly make the house look completely different, with each theme providing a totally and completely new look to the house with liberal use of more items associated with the themes title and purpose.

(1). Prewar: You are a purveyor of all things from the old days before the War, your house reflects that with pristine art and furniture from before the Great War.
(2). Raider: Converted from gore to fit a more Noble evil type player, for those who like to think of themselves as the true "wasteland Overlords" Features Gothic architecture and furniture, along with some cages for your enemies.
(3). Love: For the true Romantic, new classical romantic furniture and decorations, along with Neo-classical aesthetics.
(4). Explorer: Geared towards those Wasteland explorer character, your house is a treasure trove of lost artifacts and collectibles for all that time spent out in the wasteland, including things other scavengers will never find!
(5.) Vault: You might as well have a vault in your house, includes several new electronics, computers and furniture familiar to whats seen in the vaults.
(6). science: Placated to the idea of a mad scientist or wasteland doctor, computers, Frankenstein like electronics, and some old scavenged technology from the past.

New Architecture:
The Megaton House has been greatly increased in size and features both internally and externally. The house floor plan has been roughly quadrupled, with the inclusion of more rooms to feel more like a house truly fit to a players needs.

Rooms:
(1). Larger living room which becomes the main focal point for where theme items and decor are displayed.
(2). Full kitchen with room for companions to sit down as well. Also moved into the room to feel more like a 50's diner is the jukebox and nuka cola machine, location of the new purchasable add-on water purifier.
(3). Full bathroom with Tub, sink and counter-top, toilet and storage.
(4). Small den area converted to a library and entertainment room. Include nice furniture to relax and gun displays. Also the location of the new purchasable ad-dons "Library," "TV Movies," and "Aquarium."
(5). Off the new den is a new guest bedroom that's acts as a sleeping area for your companions.
(6.) Master bedroom has been greatly expanded in size and detail. Includes nicer queen sized bed by default, new shelves, dressers, cabinets and wardrobe. Also includes your own home office. Location of purchasable add-on Katana display. A working scripted stand to display and use Katanas.
(7). Rooftop deck. The roof is now a fully open deck to take in the view of megaton kick back and relax. Includes an open bar, BBQ and grill, sitting area/ dance floor for your companions (based off you own animation mods).
(8). The basement once accessible will include a Science lab and clinic, Tactical War Room, and Armory. Armory includes the a wall Display of all Vanilla weapons. Weapons will be displayed once the player obtains any vanilla weapon at least once. Also includes the house Item sorter.

Item Sorter (How it Works):
The item sorter made by CG! and myself is the most unique and feature packed sorter for Fallout yet. The sorting function is completely tied into the house containers. As each container int he house is now totally unique and given special names. The sorter will automatically sort your inventory into the appropriate named containers, both for containers int he armory, clinic, and all over the main house. Even down to the fine detail of dressers made for certain pieces of clothing, and different types of weapons. Now all your items can be nearly sorted and stored without any work on you part!

TV Movies:
All beginning with a request made months back, Cg! and I set out to make a truly unique experience in Fallout with a working TV the player could sit down and watch any time, with movie clips and old movie trailers all from famous movies made between the 1950's an 1970's and each selected to be appropriate with the fallout setting. Movies clips include for Example, "2001: a Space Odyssey," "James Bond," "Ben-Hur," "Mad Max," and more.

House Add-ons:
As mentioned above, there are now several new add-ons you can purchase for the house. A new library, aquarium, TV, and Water Purifier can all be purchased separately just like the vanilla addons.

Mini-Quest for Basement:
Nothing in life is free, as such to add some immersion and character to the Megaton House you can now go through a very small mini-quest associated with granting access to the Basement. Although at heart an anti-cheating mechanism for those starting a new game. The quest will involve looking into the history of the previous occupants of the house years ago along with hints at discovering where to find a key to get in the mysterious basement.

For who are intellectually lazy, the Main Download of the mod will include a very short spoiler text. Please do not post in the comments/ forum the location of the key and ruin it for everybody.

Companion and Mannequin Support:
The house and all three levels have been fully navmeshed so you companions can fully follow you throughout the house. Also various idle positions and furniture have been placed for those using a mod that causes companions to enter sandbox mode when told to wait. Several navmeshed displays have been placed throughout the house for those of you who would like to place mannequins in the house.

New Game Install:
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)\Fallout3\Data\
4. Start FOMM, place a checkmark beside the .esp file.
5. Use Archive Invalidation Invalidated for new models and textures to be displayed.

Movies Install:
=======
**NOTE: Movies are not required to use mod, Also the Science Movie package is used both for the Science and Vault Theme**

The Megaton House TV is set to play the movies that you must download separetely due to their size.
Each theme will have available it own movie set to match the atmospheric lighting each theme gives the house. There will be 2 parts to each package (totaling 10 packages, for 5 movie theme sets), We did this in part for people who want the most atmospheric and real feeling when using the movies, so when playing the movies it appears you really are sitting down and watching them yourself, purely for atmospheric affect and immersion. But also realize you don't need to download every movie set if you do not wish to. IF there is a particular theme you like or plan on using most, dl that movie set. Otherwise if you use the TV without having the correpsonding movie sets to the theme you have selected the fail safe will kick in and play the default set owned. this fail safe was created in the intention of people using a theme switcher which can cause sever problems with the mod, and it is not advised to use a switcher in the first place.

Incompatibility
===============
Incompatible with any mod that alters the interior of the Megaton House, Might conflict with mods that also alter the exterior of the house or Megaton.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
Due to use of several portals to greatly improve the performance of a large detailed house in a single cell Portals and room markers have been implemented to create certain zones of rendering. While Portals will allow for virtually flawless viewing of rooms through one another there are certain points or angles that when standing between them will cause certain walls, floors, and objects to temporarily disappear (also parts of the avatar if viewed in third person). If you see this it is because you transitioned through a certain gap in the portals, and it should only be noticed for about a second and everything will display normally once again. Known areas is on the stairs to the second floor, and upon entering the main living room from the side where the bobblehead stand is.

Also the floor tile in the prewar theme may flicker if you HDR, there is nothing I can do since I did not make the textures
