About this mod

Produces an IMOD which creates a more realistic feel to the game world; heavily effects indoor locations. Can be combined with other image modifiers for an amazing feel.

Give a thumbs up if you feel you like it, as it allows for others to easily search through the files. I would appreciate it! Also, leave photos! I LOVE seeing them and knowing you guys enjoy the mod!

This mod adds an IMOD (Image MODification) which will run at all times in the fallout universe. Indoor locations will appear much darker, and lighting will become more focused because of it. Situations with a lack of lighting will become dark and will create a tense atmosphere. Saturation is increased and therefore colors are more vibrant, adding to the immersion. Let me specify, however, that this is not accomplished by simply darkening the environment. ALL of the IMOD options were utilized to create this feel and improve the engine's lighting. Last but not least, it corresponds with the other IMODs in such a way that the resulting effects are much more immersion. (EX. Explosions are more blinding, indoor locations are easy for enemies to hide in, etc.)

Downfalls? This mod will remove, on most machines, almost exactly 1 frame per second. It is a negligible loss for a gain of realism and immersion.

To those who are posting their opinions on the comments tab;

I appreciate your discussions, i take it all in and consider making revisions all the time. If your feel that the mod could be improved in any way, i would be glad to make changes and improve the work. I have spent a lot of time already making this mod adapt to the various situations that Fallout 3 presents, and any advise is appreciated. If i hear a similar request multiple times, i will be sure to create an update. BTW to those who have used this mod extensively, please report your opinions on the several changes on other imods. (I felt it necessary to carry the feel throughout) For ex. what do you think of the pause menu exentuating specularity and what about the "menu" menu? I removed much of the blur so as not to remove immersion. All opinions are welcome!

I received a question earlier that i would like to answer;
"This mod seems comparable to other image space mods like fellout and ect. What is the difference and what makes your mod special? - thanks"
Great question. The answer? My mod creates only one IMOD that is in continuous effect, it does not edit the IMODS of existing rooms or worlds. That being said, that allows for every environment to still retain its individuality as well as its theme, and utilize the changes that my mod brings. Therefore, you get unique environments that change dynamically and are not static, as other mods present.
Here is an example: Take a look at the images tab. Do you see the screenshots? Notice how they all retain their original color pallet (Vault 101 is bluish, Lincoln's Museum is greenish, etc.) but the shading and lighting style is brought to the table now as well, reveling a new imaging style never before seen.

Compatibility Questions? Due to the nature of this mod and how its been designed, it should be compatible with every mod out there. (This includes Fellout and other IMOD modifiers) In fact, i RECOMMEND also using Fellout! That's right! Use that one too! You see, my mod only changes lighting and shading, not weather or other situations. Therefore, to get an overall amazing experience, i highly recommend using Fellout along with this mod. You'll love it. I promise. Or your money back.

Please feel free to add your own images of your comparison screenshots or - better yet - your interesting immersion examples!

New Version 1-1
Version 1-1 overwrites Version 1-0, making Version 1-0 outdated. It will, however, remain downloadable for archive purposes in the "Old Files" Tab. Version 1-1 solves the Pause Menu issue, and it makes the screen a bit more crisp than before. Same as before: any opinions or constructive advise is appreciated and always listened to. This update wouldn't have happened without you, the consumer! Enjoy! And if you like the work and the product, please endorse!
