Looks nice, glad to see the M-72 get some love (those turds at Bethesda sure didn't even try).

However, the bells on the barrel need to be more rounded.

I am working on scaling it down.

The only reason it turned out so big is the way the character holds it. I agree it is too large, too.

Also, when uploading the scaled version I hope to have it a tiny bit more common around the wastes, but still a rare weapon - like it was in FO2. Also, thanks for posting the reference Benz. That was, in fact, the picture I based it on.

Also, thanks Squall. I will rework the mod to use eXcalibr. I had never heard of the mod until you posted that.

good work - but any gauss weapon usually caseless. and the rate of fire is too fast

    Reference Picture: Fallout 2's M72

I think this is made quite well. It seems to work better than Operation Anchorage's rifle too. But it's rather big.

    Edit: Endorsed

The artworks is quite good indeed.
I havent really played FO 1 & 2 that much to tell if its in there.
However Fallout Tactics where this def was a part of.
The rifle sure do look 100% like it.

Could maybe be resized alittle bit, to be smaller.
I think it was more the size of a m-16/ak47/g3 size.
The size of this is more of a machinegun and not a rifle.

But really nice work on it.

Hmm, looks interesting. Bears some resemblance to the Gauss rifle you get from the Operation Anchorage DLC. If this is based off of the classic version, I can see why.

I've never played any of the prequels.
Maybe you could upload your reference picture? I'd be interested in seeing it.

Also, you might want to make this dependent on eXcalibr rather than adding 2mm ammo yourself. As eXcalibr already adds it, and is designed to be used as a master for other mods.

    NOTE
To any who think parts of the gun are too big: bear in mind that a REAL Gauss rifle (Rail Gun) requires EXTREMELY powerful magnets and a LOT of them in order to accelerate a slug to supersonic speeds. Merely the idea of having a hand held one is completely scifi.
I personally wouldn't complain too much if the thing looks a little bulky.

On the other hand... if this is a lot bulkier than the classic design it is based off of... then I suppose you have some reasons for criticism. Though make sure you conduct yourselves politely and show consideration to the modder who decided to share his work with you.
