If you downloaded the main file you shouldn't need to worry about the updates, as those were for people that had downloaded earlier versions of the mod. If you are up updating from a previous version then where have you been in the last 6 years?
This may be a bit late but Fallout New Vegas used specific nodes in the meshes for the iron sights to work. So they'd have to be edited into the meshes with Nifskope or Blender possibly. If that is what is holding it up. It has been a long time since I had the tools to do that myself.
Absolutely love this mod. Just what I was looking for, one thing though, I'm getting this really bizarre glitch with the Footlong .44 Magnums. Every time I reload them, the bullets loaded always end up spinning OUTSIDE the gun instead of in it. Tried Archive Invalidated. Loaded the updates, and still no fix. Anyway know the issue here?
I think it's just a problem with the meshes themselves. I just used blender for this and I don't think it exports .nif files 100% correctly. So there's a couple of hiccoughs with some of the weapons with moving parts. Not sure how to fix it and I have been out of modding for some time so I'm not set up to make changes. Sorry about that. You could try to re-download the mod but I don't think that it'll help.

Not sure what. but something is conflicting with iron sights. cant even aim from the shoulder in 3rd person anymore, always shooting from the hip in vats and 3rd person. i tried reinstalling both iron sights and this mod.
The iron sight compatibility was always a workaround, as these weapons never really worked with iron sights to begin with. So they all will fire from the hip unfortunately. Except the scoped weapons. Also for the 2 bore ammo the container that originally held the ammo should respawn whenever the respawn cycle happens. I used to know the time frame but I'm not 100% sure anymore.
Same here, I cannot aim in 3rd person and even with the RH compatibility patch, ironsights are nowhere to be seen. The guns themselves are f***ing great. Also will there be a fully compatible patch in the future or are you no longer supporting this mod anymore, thanks
Having a bit of an issue here that results in a CTD when I enter the sewer near Megaton. I do not think I installed this correctly when doing it manually. I am also using RH Ironsights. The update file, when unpacked, has two data folders in it with a total of three esp's as well. Any advice on what files I need to install/overwrite when applying this MOD manually through NMM?
I know this is a little late, but how did you get RH Ironsights to work with this? I've been trying, I even tried the Ironsights compatibility patch, but it won't work. Thank you if you decide to answer me.
Yes but the note on Bael explains where you may find them.. Hard to figure out the quests. Leveled lists ,, no way. To many others doing that conflict city.
I wrote this up to help, you would need the original mod for the guns at megaton bathtub so disreguard that part. Unless you merge the versions, and patch em up afterwords. It is also kinda in the readme, but this is better.

I built a very nice 10mm Scoped Mauser Carbine "Mr Garibaldi" custom order for, you guessed it Mr Garibaldi, weird dude. Had some unfinished business on the cliffs across from Evergreen Mills dock. ---------(hard to find spot). ff
A Talon dude bought "Sugar" pistolgrip silenced combat shotgun and went to Old Olney, dead in a deadend most likely. Should've bought the Rail cannon for that place.
Some BOS dudes said GNR needed help and they were on outside balcony duty, bought "Clara" and "Annie" scoped and unscoped, stocked .308 sniper footlong pistols. Death Incarnate. -------(gotta look for them all over as the explosions blow em anywhere.) ff
