USP.40 handgun. Scripted to allow swapping of components (suppressor and LAM) from within the Pip-Boy menu.

Based on xm20k's excellent Mk23 replacer mod. (http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9079)

I got tired of having to carry around 2 pistols just to have one suppressed and one unsuppressed.


This mod adds a Heckler & Koch USP.40 Tactical to your game. There is a script attached to allow you to swap components (ie LAM and suppressor) on the fly within the Pip-Boy menu, on equip. Ammo is handled by CALIBR, and xCALIBR handles the projectiles, shell casings, ammo boxes, etc.
The gun can be repaired with any USP, any 10mm Pistol, and Scrap Metal.

NOTE: Apparently, the .40S&W ammo is not easy to come by in the wasteland. If you'd like to use 9x19 Parabellum or .45ACP instead, download the corresponding rar and replace your original USP Tactical esp.
The USP.40 has 13-round mags, decent damage.
The USP.45 has 12-round mags, slightly increased damage.
The USP9mm has 15-round mags, with slightly decreased damage.

I'd like to figure out how to attach a flashlight effect to the LAM. I want some creepy F.E.A.R. moments down in the Metro tunnels. If anyone knows how or can offer any advice, let me know.

Fallout 3 Patch 1.7


1. Extract the files from the archive.
2. Copy files to (install folder)\Fallout 3\Data\
3. Start Fallout 3 Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file.
4. Make sure USP Tactical.esp loads AFTER CALIBR and xCALIBR.


1. Start Fallout 3 Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file.
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod.


No compatiblity issues so far. Tested with FWE and FOOK2, no problems.
