Description
===========
This mod adds 8 wearable scar items to the game each taking different slots on the character (see usage below).
Usage
===========
I'm not good with scripting or placing item in the gameworld so the items are only available by console commands.
The items are flagged as quest items to prevent the removal of them when entering the Raven Rock, The Pitt and Mothership Zeta (tested with Mothership Zeta).
However because of this you won't be able to sell or drop them, so if you want to get rid of it you'll need to use the console again.
To get the scar(s) you'll need to enter the following in the console:
player.additem xx...... 1
where xx is the esp-s hexadecimal number (read it from FOMM) and the dot-s are the items formid (see below).
To remove it from your inventory:
player.removeitem xx...... 1
Example: to get the 'Scar (Hair)' open console and enter:
player.additem xx001FB4 1
(again: you'll need to replace xx with the esp's number!)
Each type of the scars have the associated slot in their name, and have different effect when wearing hair or hat.
Available types:
The first two are special as they will have problems.
Scar (Hair)
-----------
FormId and console command:
xx001FB4
player.additem xx001FB4 1
This one will give you the same look you get in the Point Lookout quest.
Slot:
Hair - Replaces your 'nohat' version of your hair.
Conflict:
When you equip a hat the game will change your hairstyle to the 'hat' version of your current hairstyle (and not the scar), so it's best to use this type with the shaved hairstyle.
Scar (Hat)
-----------
FormId and console command:
xx001FB5
player.additem xx001FB5 1
This one gives you a hat version of the scar.
Conflict:
Equipping this will change your current hairstyle to the 'hat' version, so best used with shaved hairstyle.
The following types will only conflict other items which takes up the same slot as the scar.
No other problems should occur, these won't affect your current hairstyle. (Yes, you can wear them under your hair)
However the hairstyles can cover the scar partly or completely, and the scar may clip through some hairstyles.
Scar (Choker)
-----------
FormId and console command:
xx001FB1
player.additem xx001FB1 1
Scar (Earrings)
-----------
FormId and console command:
xx001FB2
player.additem xx001FB2 1
NOTE: When equipped it'll show up in barber menu - can be used to find a hairstyle for your scar.
Scar (Glasses)
-----------
FormId and console command:
xx001FB3
player.additem xx001FB3 1
Scar (Headband)
-----------
FormId and console command:
xx001FB6
player.additem xx001FB6 1
Scar (Mask)
-----------
FormId and console command:
xx001FB7
player.additem xx001FB7 1
Scar (Nosering)
-----------
FormId and console command:
xx001FB8
player.additem xx001FB8 1
NOTE: When equipped it'll show up in barber menu - can be used to find a hairstyle for your scar.
While there are other slots on the characters only these can show the scar properly (and not affecting armors or other important items)
Installation
============
Extract the WearableScar.esp to the Fallout3\Data folder.
Activate WearableScar.esp with FOMM and take a note of the hexadecimal number (you'll need it).
Uninstall
=========
Delete WearableScar.esp from Fallout3\Data folder
Known Issues or Bugs
====================
Clipping and covering when using some hairstyles (Even shaved hairstyle will cover it partly).
For more info see Usage.
Compatibility
=============
Should work with anything.
It's not a replacer so you should be able to use other scar textures with this, like http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7628 (haven't tested)
