True color map


Basically i combined all the textures in the landscape/lod/diffusefolder to form a complete true color map of the wasteland.
The coordinates for each texture was listed in its name and was just a matter of placing them side by side on one large texture.
was around 1000 textures in all. then i just overlayed the defualt maps a bit to get the roads and other markings.

This is not meant to be a more readable map, but i have no problems using it.

As is the case with many maps it works best with the white pipboy hud, and it also looks okay with the amber one.

Unfortunately the colors seem to get faded out on the pipboy if any 1 knows how I can remedy this please let me know.

ive included some screens of the map on and off the pipboy as well as an image of the map without the markings.

place texture folder into fallout data director

enter this into archive invalidation text

textures/interface/worldmap/wasteland_1024_no_map.dds

and enjoy

the second hi-res image is meant for out of game viewing as it is not in dds format, however you could just convert it and use it in game but it will not look any better in game than the 2048 variant that is used in this mod. well it might look slightly better but not a whole lot.
