When Elder Lyons lead the Brotherhood of Steel to the ruins of the Pentagon, he hoped to reclaim the technology of the past. He succeeded beyond all expectations with the discovery of Liberty Prime. Presumably, more mundane but still important, pieces of tech such as the newer T-51b power armor would have been found in the very same vaults. This all makes perfect sense.
That being said, am I the only person to wonder why the elite unit of the Capitol Wasteland Brotherhood--The Lyon's Pride--would not be the first group to receive these critical upgrades? Well, this mod attempts to address this oversight on the part of Bethesda.
FEATURES:
* Added a new Lyon's Pride insignia T-51b power armor. This is an entirely new armor item that will not overwrite anything existing in the original game. It's stats are the same as the vanilla T-51b and the new textures are by Hmudaa.
* Changed the appropriate levelled lists so that this new Lyon's Pride T-51b is used by all full members of the Lyon's Pride (I.e.: Sentinel Lyons, Colvin, Dusk, Gallows, Glade, Kodiak and Vargas).
* Altered the inventories of the two Lyon's Pride Initiates, Reddin and Jennings, to use the older T-45d power armor with the Lyon's Pride insignias. (Basically, I doubted that they would give their unproven noobs full membership benefits.)
* I intended this mod to be an aesthetic upgrade for the affected NPCs only, but you can add a set of this new armor to your own character if you want, via the console (Base IDs: Armor 02008939, Helmet 0200893A).
REQUIREMENTS:
Fallout 3
DLC Broken Steel
INSTALL:
1. Extract all files to "\Fallout 3\Data".
2. Enable "JHBLyonsT-51b.esp" via FOMM.
UNINSTALL:
1. Disable .ESP via FOMM.
2. Delete all files.
