ok,so i got the game on steam sale,and this error happens that i dont have xlive.dll,so i looked it up,and i see that i need this.I got it,opened it,but when i say "yes" ,the program gives me an error,like it couldn't find my fallout.ini ,and i dont know what to do next,like i tried to open the launcher,left it open,open the program,same thing,help ?
After game installation you need to start up Fallout3 at least once and login to Windows Live; the Fallout.ini will then be generated by the game. Start a new game and save when you can and exit. Then use the Disabler.
lol but the funny thing is that game won't start because it thinks windows live isn't installed even though it is.....and since this game requires the game to start to disable the windows live.....
Necro i suppose, i'm dealing with this problem rn, Just copy/paste Fallout_default.ini and rename it to Fallout ini and stick it in My Documents/My Games/Fallout3 this adds an ini file without the game starting.

Can't open the disabler because it needs a .ini file. Can't start fallout 3 cause it crashes and this is supposed to help. Catch 33 anyone?
This may not work forever but it works currently.
