MS03b Moira MoleRat Fix - By Cobalt262
==============================================
Version: 1.0
For: Fallout 3 v1.7.03

Description:
============
Simple little MOD that fixed the problem I encountered during the Wasteland Survival Guide, MoleRat Repellent Quest - the Repellent Stick wouldn't explode the MoleRats. The MoleRat's would smoke for a bit, but they would not explode - no Gooey Exploding Skull Goodness = No Kill Count towards completing the Ques.t

I am running FOOK2 RC1, FWE v441, MMM RC5 and many other mods. I believe one or more of them may have changed something that broke the Quest by changing the Repellent Stick, the Repellent Stick's ObjectEffect, the Mole Rat creature, the Mole Rat faction or one of the scripts used in the Quest.

This little mod does nothing more than make sure the original v1.7 Fallout 3 records for the Mole Rat Repellent quest are the ones currently in use - so long as this mod is loaded as the VERY LAST in your load order. Once you've completed the quest you can disable this mod without problems, you'll only need it again if you start a new game and encounter the same Quest-Bug again.

Installation:
=============
1. Unzip MS03_FIX.zip to your Fallout 3 folder. The four MS03FIX***** TEXT files must go in your Fallout 3 folder, not the DATA folder.
2. Using FOMM check the ESP file "MS03b Moira MoleRat Fix.ESP" and make sure it is the VERY LAST Esp on your Load-Order.
3. Launch your game and Enjoy.

How to Play:
=============
If you want to complete the Quest really quick, open up the console (press the ~ key) and enter the following command:
bat MS03FIX_RATS

This will spawn 10 MoleRats at your location; assuming you have the Repellent Stick, whack away!

IMPORTANT NOTE!!! The MoleRat's HEAD MUST EXPLODE for the MoleRat kill to count towards the completion of the quest, so hit them ONCE then WAIT for them to die, it only takes 5 seconds.

If you don't have the stick for some reason use the following console command:
bat MS03FIX_STICK

If your character is too strong (ie, killing with a single blow), open the console and enter the console command below. This will set melee damage to -50 of whatever it previously was, don't worry it is easily fixed afterwards.
bat MS03FIX_WEAK

Once the quest says it is completed enter the following command to return your Melee Damage setting to normal.
bat MS03FIX_STRONG

Console Commands Summary
bat MS03FIX_RATSSpawns 10 Mole Rats at your location, have fun!
bat MS03FIX_STICKGives you the Repellent Stick, you should have it already but just in case you don't have it, use this command
bat MS03FIX_WEAKDecreases Melee Damage by 50points, so you can whack the Rats as much as you want, they wont die until they explode
bat MS03FIX_STRONGIncreases Melee Damage by 50points, use this to restore your Melee Damage to normal after using MS03FIX_WEAK

And yes, you could enter the MS03FIX_STRONG command twice or more to cheat and give yourself the abilty to rip off a Deathclaw's head in one punch - but you wouldn't do that would you :P

Uninstall:
==========
1. Uncheck the MS03b Moira MoleRat Fix.ESP from your Load Order and the delete it from the Fallout 3\DATA directory.
2. Delete MS03FIX_STICK.TXT from your Fallout 3 directory
3. Delete MS03FIX_RATS.TXT from your Fallout 3 directory
4. Delete MS03FIX_WEAK.TXT from your Fallout 3 directory
5. Delete MS03FIX_STRONG.TXT from your Fallout 3 directory

Compatibility:
==============
Ths mod should be compatible with everything, it only contains exact copies of the original Master records that affect the MS03b Quest line (Wasteland Survival Guide, Mole Rat Repellent)
