About this image

tried to get some fo4 feeling. don't like the dull surroundings so much.

the last two steam games, mad max and fo3 goty, crashed after the initial installation. internet saved me and fo3 runs now after solving the windows live installation problem.
mad max still crashes after the loading screen. i have no clue why. no error message at all.

The Mad Max game is great - hope you get it working.

reason was a missing ms c++ redist package in my win10 setup

I just noticed your crash issue comment. Sounds like a windows live forcing Dx11 onto a Dx9 game.Don't kill me for not being able to describe it correctly. I use win 7 and have no issues with FO3 or FNV.
    Happy Holidays.

my fo3  runs now on win 10. yes, windows live included in the steam package was the problem. it is not included in win 10.
got GFWL installed with some tricks. offered a guide here on nexus if you plan to use it with win 10
mad max is still left with crash problem . unable to play it.

found the solution for madmax after 2 weeks: installed the all in one ms c++ redist package and now game works. seems that one needed package was not installed. it was just difficult to track without any error massage.
