Indeed, permissions from authors are always hard to get... Mainly when authors just keep ingoring your requests. That is why I am struggling with release of Elizabeth race mod.

Anyway, VERY NICE retextures! Will they be released with atleast 2k textures?

  Yeah! 2k is usually what I go by unless its something really small, really big or something that isn't used too much in the game. Hope we both get a YES answer soon my man.
