..... or "goodbye for now". I've done what I came to The Capital Wasteland to do. Garrett and his crew are at a position from which I can start writing. Though I'm far from done with FO3 as it is. But for now I'm heading back to the Mojave.
By Fallout standards, that is a very nice home you have there, Bernt! I would not want to pay the caps to have a place made from "time stopped" Pre-War goods! O.O
Is that Scarlasha behaving herself in the chair, and Clover serving coffee? Just curious...
Thanks a lot Dru It is actually Bond's make over of the GNR studios. I figured that since Garrett - in my version of this universe- arrived in DC a few years after Fallout 3; then the relative peace would have given 3Dog the time and opportunity to fix do a few things about his "Baby". And Garrett and his crew use it as a base for excursions to the DC interior. Scarlasha is actually sitting on the floor playing the harmonica, One of Backsteppos many extremely usesful poses. And - yes - Clover is serving coffee. I always use ChromeHamster's version of her. It has become a favorite of mine. No matter what else I've tried. Likewise I make sure to ditch that rag of hers and give her some proper armor or -as here - a nice dress. Depending on the situation. She's my favorite companion. So I want her to look decent - and then some
I rather thought it was Bond's work I was looking at, but I never would have guessed it was the GNR building I was seeing. Backsteppos' poses are a "must have" for screenshots, as far as I am concerned, and I agree with you about Clover. She is my favourite vanilla follower, and I have also been using Chromehamster's version of her for years. The companion version of Sydney is also another favourite of mine. It was very well done, and the inclusion of newly voiced lines by the original VA made it the best follower mod for FO3, at least in my opinion. :)
Yes - and no........... In some ways DC feels as much as home to me - game wise- as the Mojave does The stranger in my basket of games is Fallout4. Thanks Jim
Thanks a lot Pat I don't know how much I'm going to upload from the Mojave. On the other hand......... I think I said the same about Fallout3. Just playing to get to a specific point in game etc etc......... Guess I can't help doing those pics. As for the diary - I've got a lot of it laid out in my head - and on those 5 pages of notes........ Just need some pics to go with it. Which reminds me - I need to figure out where I left Hardin - if he's still alive at all........... Gah - more notes
Mmm,, coffee and goin' home. Here's one for Garrett -
I can smell the coffee, the coffee brewing I'll take mine black, you know it's good, it's good to be back Go on and tell me (how, folks) you folks been doing? I'm saying hello, and evening I'll go
Going home - to the palm trees of Tucson..... Sorry - couldn't help it. Almost feel like a second home to us. Besides - I don't think I've seen any palm trees in the Mojave....... Great tune. Thank you Laird
Thanks a lot for your kind words Heike To me it was like going back home. And rest assured that I'm far from done with it yet. Still so much to do. Even though it tests my patience from time to time
I'm surprised noone did it Thanks Cephaler @Etholas: So true. We have a saying at work. "Out of diesel or out of coffee - it's all the same. The trains don't move"
