About this image

So.. I decided to try Reshade on FO3. I had no idea the impact would be so significant.
I feel that combined with Imaginator and Realistic Lighting Overhaul, the effect is quite nice. Personally, I think it's as nice as ENB, but without the hassle. While I happily use ENBs in Skyrim and Oblivion, I discovered they could be very glitchy in FNV, so I decided not to bother trying at all with this game.

What reshade are you referring to?

Just this basic program that works for a variety of games:
      https://reshade.me/

      I have ticked:
      Ambient Light
Adaptive Sharpen (does wonders for the textures)
      Curves
      Clarity
      LumaSharpen

Er meh God !! Thanks for pointing this out to me. This is awesome. I'm using your settings, except for Adaptive Sharpen. Makes my characters face look weird. I'm gonna' play around with this more. Great in game interface as well.

      Kudos

Edit: Just discovered you can tweak each individual setting to your taste. Adaptive Sharpen back on. ^^

You are welcome, I'm glad you're enjoying it. I really love Reshade; as I mentioned above, you can achieve similar effects to ENB without the headaches.
Yeah... I just turned off Adaptive myself; it's actually a bit too aggressive; LumaSharpen, which is more subtle, is all that is necessary.
Thanks for the kudos, totally unnecessary, but appreciated.

      EDIT
Yep, I may, perhaps, tweak Adaptive a bit when I have time.

I bumped the adaptive setting down to like 0.250 and it's a lot better now. I think everyone playing this game should use ReShade. It's a gem. I get no performance hit what-so-ever. In fact, I may even be experiencing a performance increase. I'm using Dynamic Weather, along with the Imaginator too.

Again, thanks for the heads up.

Nice touch with the Reshade. Do you still use Vurt's stuff? Why haven't you got 2D trees in the background?

Yeah... I was pretty shocked at the difference Reshade makes in this game. I mean, I'm also using it for FNV... and it definitely looks nice there too, but I've found that, overall, vanilla F03 looks a bit muddier than vanilla FNV, so the change seems more dramatic.
Indeed, I'm still using Vurt's stuff. Not quite sure what you mean about the 2D trees in the background, though ??

Like you place 2 flat images in 90 degrees in center to each other?

      Hmm...
Well I haven't done anything different with Vurt's trees, as far as I'm aware?

Maybe it is my setup then? Surpassed my PCs limits again :)

Could be! It's always nice when things like that happen. I have a pretty decent system (CPU is a slightly dated, but that doesn't impact FO3/FNV, and it's still holding up well), so I'm not sure what any issue with the trees might be.
I did just try some of the tweaks suggested by Vurt on the description page, including, turning off ingame AA and AS, and using the Nvidia settings instead, but that just made my AA look like crap, so I reverted back.
