Ah, yes, hunting Enclave troops with a .50 cal! My preference for that is Blackblossom's "Finger of God". It is available here, if you are curious.

I've used it a lot. It's a piece of art - literally. I even wanted to port it to New Vegas. But she never answered to my PM. But I found another one - this here- which the author allowed me to bring over I was pretty annoyed at the vanila .50 cal using 3-4 bullets on an assasin! Thanks Dru

I vaguely remember being here . . . maybe . . . but I don't remember where it is. Need to play this again soon just to refresh the old memory cells. Having fun in there?

It's Project Purity at the Jefferson Memorial. "Dad" sends you donw into the pipes to turn a valve - and the Enclave arrives. I downlaodeda .50 cal rifle for the purpose - the same one I ported to New Vegas. Cheating.... Sure - but I'm having FUN As I've said before, this demands quite a bit of patience from you. Opening a door is always a hit or miss ( reload/reboot) thing. Some places are unplayable. On the other hand then the whole tunnel network with Mutants and centaurs was as smooth as a babys bum And the same happened down at Taft tunnels going to the Citadel. Only crashed on me once - when a lot of things happened at once.
      Thank you very much Pat

Thanks Fred - again Hmm - I dunno. But..... every so often I say to myself "Myself - this time you're just going to play the game. Capice!!" And before long I'm back thinking picture angles and dialogue....... Guess I can't help it.

Don't excuse your genius. Just keep on going. You open FO3 in a new way for us
As you yourself says FO4 has got no "personality" while FO3 is full of it and we need to be reminded about it.
I have also asked myself: "Why FO3, why not New Vegas and so on". A buggy old fart. At least before you install all the helpers and tools to get around the bugs.
Maybe that is the reason. We all nurture a baby till it can walk by itself. No flashy sites, no sick legionnaires - only a game cut to the bones.

Lovely, isn't it. You are the hero - not the game.
Keep on writing as you go, Bernt.

Thanks for dropping by Blu Well - if I was to comment on everything I'd like to comment on, I wouldn't have time for my job So don't feel bad about it. I appreciate you dropping in and taking the time when you can

Thanks for the info. Now, I know who's who in your story.
Fallout4 is the first one I've played, but I've picked up some of the lore. I needed some dates to help write Isolde's backstory so I looked it up in Wikis. Also got a take on some events by reading terminals while playing through the Fusion City series.
    So, I'm having fun!

Thank you Hammer I'm old to this game - started on Fallout 2, then FO1, Tactics etc etc But Garrett is the first character I really went roleplaying with. He's not a former Fo1, -2 etc character but one I started in Vegas with the purpose of finishing the game instead of starting a new character halfway through. Over and over again. As I started writing the "Diary" things took on a life of their own. And by now he's got his own lore as I've brought other characters into his world. And he's visiting DC . I even took him on a trip to Boston where he made a cameo in the story of my FO4 character.
I know the timeline doesn't add up at all. But it was the best I could do to fit all of the games togther.
I went and took a look at Isolde. Very well done. You've been thorough thinking up her background making it fit into the framework of the game.

The same thing happened to me with Isolde's Story. It took on a life of its own and soon other characters who were originally peripheral had major parts - all because of their relationships to her.
Thanks for checking on Isolde. I left a response there as well.

It's interesting to note when Val arrived in the Mojave in your timeline.
Her arrival there would coincide with Faith's awakening in Sanctuary depending upon the date. Hmm...

Thank you very much Etholas I've got no set date for when Val arrived in Vegas. She was on a long trip by boat and foot. And Willow and Garrett first met her in the Soth Vegas ruins. Maybe there's a story in there........... Well - I have to add to the timeline. Garrett did a trip to Boston not too long ago. He made a cameo in the diary of my FO4 character. originally I wanted to bring him to Boston as the main character. Or at least play as an old guy. But that would not fit into the FO4 story at all - not even using all of my inagination. And then some......

In Faith's timeline or thread of the Fallout 'verse the date when she met Val is indeterminate. It's an interesting occurrence to ponder.

Thank you Jim I'm amazed I can play the game at all And then I see what you come up with - wow Still - working towards a point where I can get back to the diary again. I need to unlock some places and people. And - frankly - I'm having way too much fun to just use the console

You're bringing back some memories with this. FO3 was actually the first one I played....and screwed up modding the first time Nice bit of history, it helps

Thank you Jacob I discovered modding on Silent Hunter 3 - and was amazed. But I didn't do much about it - let alone making any mods myself. Then I discovered Nexus - and the rest (as they say) is history
For more than 400 chapters Garrett has developed his own lore within the lore. And when I introduced Valeria by the end of New Vegas I simply had to do a plausible -if ever so superficially- timeline to keep track of things. And - yes- I DO tend to refer to his past and to people he knows back in Vegas. In keeping with the assumption that he's experiencing the DC area some time after Fallout 3. If even only in my head

After you replace, the fuse, fix the pump, etc, could ya get me a pastrami on rye? Ah Valeria. I hope we'll be hearing from her at some point.

Thank you Cormell I guess it's soup and pizza - homemade- for tonight. Yum. Ehrm..... I didn't really plan on bringing Val back into the game. But now something begins to nag at the back of my mind. Not the first time another Nexian provides inspiration for what happens in the diary And I still have the original files so..... hmm.
