I've made special .40 S&W casings for the Beretta 96's, including strike marks from the firing pin as per your suggestion.
I've updated my 9mm casings too, I'll probably add them as an optional update to my existing 9mm weapon packs.

It's the display case for Deckard's gun from Blade Runner, I love that film & just had to make one.
The "real" movie prop gun was made from parts including a Steyr rifle & has the Steyr logo prominently on it in several places so I stuck with that as it's maker.

I've made many models but I always seem to get side tracked before getting on & releasing.

Deckard's gun is definitely iconic, and yep, the upper is stamped Steyr Mannlicher. That weapon inspired me to do a little research on set triggers since I'd never seen one before and had no idea what they were or how they operated before.
I hear ya on getting sidetracked, that happens to me with images and story ideas too. They just sort of run their course or are shared only with the creators of some of the characters involved and end up not going any further.
