@ charwo I might add the WW2 memorial. I plan on adding the Chinese embassy ...burnt to the ground.
@Talwyn Yeah I had plans to make this mod take place sometime just before the Great War. And yes, there will be a lot of policemen and National Guardsmen walking around. But I think I'll go with Protectrons instead of Sentrybots.
If you're doing this massive mod, can you release some of it piecemeal? I'd Like to pretend my LW could use their money to pay the Temple of the Union people to fully restore the Mall, Lincoln, Washington and Capital as funds are available. Also, would you consider putting in some of the things they left out like the Vietnam Memorial the Korean memorial, and even if not those, the World War II memorial, cause I'm sure they'd have built that one if nothing else.
Excellent work. I have a concept for a Fallout game that actually starts on October 15 2077, 8 days before the bombs fall. I have always wanted to see what pre war America in 2077 would look like. Perhaps we could see a Mr Handy walking the family dog, Mr & Mrs prospective Vault Dwellers walking around in the shiny new vault suits, looking down their noses at the people who can't afford to get into a vault. There'd be a large security presence as pre war US was by this stage virtually a police state so plenty of military types and Sentrybots about the place.
You definitely have my vote, it would be quite a welcome change to the dreary, dead and scary Capital Wasteland. Don't get me wrong, I love Fallout and it's setting but it's nice to take a break once in a while and see how everything was BEFORE the world went to hell.
