About this image

The Higgs Boson isn't exactly something that anyone can read in a holotape. It's initial analysis started before the war by a group of Vault-Tec scientists working in conjecture with the company's Fusion Four Program. It was an attempt to find alternate power sources seeing the vaults use of reactors could be potentially flawed. They ended up doing combined experiments into mass particle acceleration on a scale that make even the program that designed the GECK look like a third rate science fair project. This however wouldn't come to mind until after I found the Swahl Stradivarius so I'm getting ahead of myself again.

Trembling with anticipation I made my way to the Republic of Dave, which by now had been changed to the Democracy of Lucy. Long story for another day. I admired Dave's willingness to try to institute a form of government in these lawless times but his methods were less to be desired. After bidding the children and Lucy farewell I started to make my way west; thats where I knew this wasn't going to be a simple walk in the park.

Old Olney. It had a reputation already in the wastes as, "you don't want to go here unless you want to be dead." Deathclaws, lots of them. If there was one thing about the DC Wasteland that I was not sad to leave behind was these monstrosities. A part of me actually thought they came from hell itself but the dissection of a recently deceased one put my mind at ease. They were a mutation of FEV with the common chameleon along with splicing of bear, wolf and a little bit West Indian toad species.

That did little to appease my mind; going around wasn't an option because it would take hours, maybe even days to find a different route. I would have to walk into the heart of the beast, literally.

Not a good place to go witout proper preparation. Wondering what your non-violent approach to this will be.
