@Jalex228 It's actually a mix. I used your retexture for the grip, original texture for the rest and my modified normal/specular maps on a FO3 version of the same gun with weapon attachments ported from NV. It was a pain to make but I just couldn't get the animation right when I tried to port the gun from NV.
Am I correct in assuming the Desert Eagle pictured here is using my retexture from the NV Nexus, because, if so, I'm flattered. And impressed by how good it looks with the mods on it.
@pwinkle Yeah, I bought a whole lot of custom weapon parts from Wolfgang. And he has the highest repair skill in the wasteland, unless you go to Point Lookout.
@BlackRampage That would be great, that Desert Eagle in the pic can rip a Raider's head off with one shot so I assume I'd have a nice discount from merchants.
@Werne Lol, true cant forget about ol Crazy.. I've brought a fair share off him when I'm making custom weapons and I'm missing THAT one part. You say that if a guy broke into your shop, wearing power armour and tied you up you'd be willing to give him a discount... What I'm wondering is guy's gone to all that trouble why would he still bother paying? :p
@Benmc20 I agree, she didn't deserve it, but her shop was perfect for taking the screenshot.
@pwinkle Everyone needs 200 toy cars, that's why Crazy Wolfgang runs a successful buisness.
@Druuler The bartering system in the pic is more realistic than vanilla one. If a guy in power armor comes into my shop, ties me up and points a gun in my face I'd sure as hell give him a discount.
Yes, the barter system in the game is rather simplistic, and wouldn't work in reality, obviously. Nor would it work in a "table top" RPG version of the game, but in that case, the process can be played out by both the seller (player) and the merchant (game master/referee).
Lol, nice. I'll be honest it always kind of bothered me how the bartering system does work in game. I could buy your mans power armour there and get it fully repaired, all paid for by selling old bottles, books and toy cars. Because lord knows we all need 200 toy cars ;p +1 from me

@Pwinkle: Well, otherwise he wouldn't be able to repeat the same hilarious "procedure" when he comes back in a couple of days

Endorsed.
