@lordinquisitor - Its really easy to edit the scale of the bones of the skeleton using nifskope, just right click on a bone and move to "transform" and click "edit", you can then edit the bones as you please, the scale option is at the bottom of the window.
Yeah, i was, but its easy for me to put any armor or clothes on the supermutant, i just need to copy the clothes or armor to the my new creatures folder, i've basicly just copied the human animations and skeleton to a new creature folder and edited some copies of the human skeleton to look more supermutant shaped and then rigged some supermutant heads to the human skeleton, its a quick and easy way for me to make supermutants wear whatever i want them to without constantly having to rig the clothes or armor to the supermutants skeleton, i'll be sharing these resources pretty soon, i'm pretty much done with both this and the liberty prime i rigged to the human skeleton, i'll be putting them in the same resource pack because they are both set up the same way.

Well all I can say is it sure beats messing about with weightpaint like I have been. Messing with skeletons must be a new option. you using blender?
