A Reshade preset for Fallout 2 that will improve image quality (see screenshots).
Installation
Put the preset (the ReShadeFallout2.ini file) in your Fallout 2 steam folder (generally C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 2).
Install Reshade from its official website (Reshade.me). During install select the fallout2HR.exe (you should be sure to use this one in game, for High Res), Directx9 (it will not work if you select Directx10 or 12), then select this preset if you want install only its required shaders, or select all shaders if you want to play with Reshade.
During game, it should start, but you cannot press Home key as this is used by Fallout 2. You will have to edit the Reshade.ini file first (from the Fallout 2 directory, this one is not a preset) and change the line KeyOverlay=144,0,0,0 to use the numlock key instead (yep numlock is quite annoying, maybe you can find some better key, see keycodes for more keys).
That should be all. Have fun.
