    Henchwomen show up correctly for base race. But I get nothing from custom races. Even though they show up on my custom races xml file for buildable units... What up with that?

    Legendary Heroes version:

    Henchwomen do not have access to half of the henchmen traits, specifically the spell traits, such as earth adept and life adept. Also, the tech lists female torchbearers with no name or stats, and while it does list shieldwomen I do not see one in the unit designer.

    Edit: So I checked the XML files, again, this time more carefully (at first glance I couldnt see any problem), and I found a few typos.

    In HenchFemaleAbilities.xml,

    <AbilityBonus InternalName="EartAdept1Ability">

    Should be

    <AbilityBonus InternalName="EarthAdept1Ability">

    And

    <AbilityBonusOption InternalName="LifeAdept1Ability">

    Should be

    <AbilityBonusOption InternalName="LifeAdept1">

    I am now checking to see if it works, but every change requires starting a new game, so this may take a while

    Edit: Tested: shieldwomen and candlebearers are not immediately available if one beelines henchmen. The shieldwoman, unlike the shieldman, becomes available only when wooden shields are researched, since, unlike the default shieldman, she is actually explicitly equipped with one of those. I suspect the candlebearer will similarly become available once I complete some other research.

    Tried it on LH v1.20, doesn't seem to work. I've unpacked it both into the Fallen Enchantress and Legendary Heroes folders in the My Games folder.

    Edit: Found out that I need to start a new game to see any changes. Problem solved!

      I've been maintaining a version on the elemental forums, but I've updated the files here so it will now work with LH.

    Hmm. Perhaps I've installed it incorrectly but it doesn't seem to work with the latest patch.

    Doesn't work for me.

    I've installed the mod, enabled mods and researched the henchmen tech.

    From the posts I gather you have to be playing the premade faction instead of creating your own? If so, this mod is worthless to me, is there any way to get around this?

      There is a way to get around this, but the requirement for henchmen (and women) is to have the altar race (doesn't have to be the vanilla one provided) and research the henchmen tech. This should allow access to the henchwomen. To design your own henchwomen (there are limits to the game itself), you have to redesign one of the ones I've made.

    Any Chance you could do the same for Sions?
