The scars are permanent, they heal overtime into a (white) scar instead of the bloody one, like in the original. the texture replacement is cause some dumbass in the 3D Asset area didn't change the textures of the healed and open scar, but if you want non permanent you can delete the healed textures and it'll disappear. Or make custom scars
Yeah if you know how to edit the codes, I think I used Chocolate box from the original fable and edited the time to heal to 1000 or something, I'd have to check but you can compare the codes with mine and the other one if you can
Really like the look of the scars in the screenshots but I'm confused at how I install this into my game. In the files section, you say "Replace the scar textures with these ones on the Fable Editor, located it HERO_COMP_TEX" Isn't the file editor for making mods? I don't know what this means.
How do I add this to my game? Where do I drop the files from "Bruises and Blooded" and "Scar Textures" ?
The scar textures requires you to go to the Fable Editor (The UE3 one) and there's the content called HERO_COMP_TEX, and then you reimport the textures with the appropriate name

or possibly make a fablemodpackage?
