About this mod
FA: REDUX is a complete overhaul of Fable Anniversary, which rebalances and alters the entire game. Everything has been rebalanced, cut content has been restored and there are new chests to find.

Fable Anniversary: REDUX is not just a difficulty mod. Although the game has been made harder (mainly early-game), this is not the point of the mod.
In making this mod, I have set out to:
To see all of the other changes I have made, consult the readme file, which contains a fully updated changelog. Instructions on how to download and apply FA: REDUX are also contained in the readme, along with FAQs and known bugs and issues.
NOTE: YOU WILL NEED FREEROAM AND THE STEAM EDITION OF THE GAME FOR THIS MOD TO WORK. THE UNPATCHED LEV VERSION WILL NOT WORK. YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO PLAY ON CHICKEN DIFFICULTY. IF YOU USE THE UMAP FILES, YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL THE FREE MODDING DLC FROM STEAM. EVEN IF YOU'RE UPDATING FROM V1.0.X, YOU NEED TO START A NEW SAVE.

In making this mod, I have set out to:
- Make all playstyles more viable by rebalancing weapons, armour and spells
- Make augmentations and switching up your playstyle more important by editing enemy resistances
- Make the side activities of the game (i.e. tavern games, chicken kicking, fist fighting etc.) more worth your time
- Make renting properties (for evil heroes) and marriage (for good heroes) more viable
- Added new chests, NPC drops (by which I mean enemies now drop their weapons, like the Hobbe Hammers and Bandit Scimitars) and enemy spawns in order to give you that feeling of playing Fable for the first time again
- Restore cut content
- Make late-game and post-game more fun
