This mod uses AI upscaling to improve the low-quality 720p pre-rendered cutscenes into a high bitrate 4k resolution.
This game uses the Bink 1 format, and it's pretty bad at compressing videos without losing quality. So I had to increase bitrate quite a bit to prevent any loss of quality. This means the file size is a lot larger than the originals. And because of the way Bink handles large files sizes, you might encounter some stuttering at the beginning of each cutscene if you have an old hard drive.
I originally made this mod for my enjoyment, so it only includes enhanced videos for the main campaign. DLC videos are not included.
Download options
I provided two different download options. A smaller file and a larger file. The smaller one will have a bit more compression, but it shouldn't be noticeable when in motion. The smaller file should also have fewer stutter issues on older hard drives.
Installation
Download parts 1 and 2. Extract files. Drop files into the game folder.
