Features
- Re-Implements Bristlebacks from the Dragonborn DLC into Enderal.
- Replaces existing Steppe Crushers enemies in the Powder Desert with Bristlebacks. Optional File to restore those enemies if you wish.
- Places about 15 separate Bristlebacks in the Enderal Worldspace - throughout the Heartlands and the Frostcliff Mountains. Replaces some existing Wolf encounters to keep balance of EP appropriate and to not clutter the worldspace with non-stop encounters.
- Bristleback stats from Dragonborn tweaked to static values and to match Enderal's numbers, and show up in LVL15(Bristleback), LVL25(Bristleback Beast), LVL30(Bristleback Crusher) variants.
- Bristlebacks have high Health and Stamina and are aggressive - watch out for their trample and gore power attacks!
- Bristlebacks don't have any innate armor or magic resistances and can't reliably attack from the side. Flank them to beat them.
- Bristlebacks drop boar meat which can be cooked to grant the Satiated buff, similar to Cooked Horse Meat.
- Boar Tusks implemented as an alchemy ingredient - the tusks have the same ingredient effects as their Dragonborn DLC counterparts.
- Unique Bristleback NPC Bilgemuck exists as a LVL35 miniboss on the Isle of Kor. Drops the Cuirass from the Skaragg Set as a reward.
Install Instructions
No requirements. Install this mod and enjoy - it should use the bristleback meshes/textures/sounds from your Skyrim BSAs.
Mod Recommendations
Because this mod's .esp was created by forking the Bristleback records and their original data paths - all mesh/texture replacers should work just fine.
I recommend the following:
Compatibility
This mod contains some forwarded records that aren't present in Enderal's empty Dragonborn.esm file - this shouldn't cause any issues
since those records aren't referenced at all in Enderal, but this mod's .esp should NOT be run through xEdit's QuickAutoClean as a result. The mod is also an .esp flagged .esl file and will not take up a slot in your load order.
