A patch for the amazing Skyblivion Lockpick Menu Mod to work with Enderal SE. Currently working with v.1.05 of the base mod.
Notable Features the Patch introduces
- Edited Script that retains the Lockpick/Memory Tree requirement to open Adept/Expert/Master level locks.
- Doors and chests open as normal, and grant Enderal's EXP when unlocked.
- Lockpick Menu .esl tweaked to remove unresolved records / overwriting records with the Enderal Skyrim.esm records
- Vanilla Skyrim perk trees that the mod relies on now point to Enderal's Trickster Memory Tree. They now correlate to:
Trickster: Thief Apprentice -> Apprentice Locks, Adept Locks
Trickster: Replica -> Wax Key
Trickster: Expert Locksmith -> Expert Locks
Trickster: Shadow Player -> Quick Hands + Locksmith
Trickster: Master Thief -> Unbreakable + Master Locks
- Optional widescreen UI file to match the Horizon UI look(I will not be making additional UI patches - this is simply what I edited for use in my game and am throwing it in as a bonus).
Install Instructions
Download the base mod first. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/117184
Then download one of the two main files(if you are/aren't using EGO) and overwrite the base mod.
If you are using Immersive Interactions - I recommend downloading the optional "Skyblivion Lockpick Menu - No Lockpick Activate" file so Immersive Interactions does not "activate" the door/chest twice.
I have included an optional file that bypasses the lockpicking requirement check that works for both the Steam and ModPub versions of Enderal - derived off of No Lockpicking Requirements by TheVoidKnight. Download the base mod and then the optional file if you are using this patch.
Caveats / Compatibility
- Skill Progression doesn't exist in Enderal - so the UI will display "NaN%" for the % EXP value of your Lockpicking skill. This is just a visual artifact from Skyrim's systems and the mod functions as normal.
- Some of the perks that the Skyblivion Lockpick Menu mod uses and relies on(Unbreakable, Quick Hands + Locksmith) don't exist in Enderal's Trickster Memory tree by default. I added those perks to Shadow Player and Master Thief - one could say its a balancing change in favor of the player but for the purposes of the mod it sets one of the tumblers to its primed position, and simply makes your lockpick unbreakable is all.
