Also ich hab den Mod installiert aber jedes mal wenn ich per skyui auf einen Fovoriten wechsel bei dem ich in der linken Hand ein Schild trage zieht mein Charakter den Ring aus. Ich habe DSR für Schild am Rücken welches ein optisches MUSS ist. Keine Ahnung ob es daran liegt aber leider bringt mir die Mod nicht den gewünschten Effekt da ich immer wieder mit nur einem equipten Ring dastehe. Ich habe in Erinnerung den Mod oder einen ähnlichen schon früher benutzt zu haben kann mich aber nicht an solche Probleme erinner. Jemand eine Idee woran es liegen könnte?
Das liegt daran, dass die Ringe den selben BIP-Slot 60 wie die Schilde verwenden. Abhilfe schafft folgender kopierter Text von der original DSR-Seite.
I use your mod with Left Hand Rings/The Black Sacrament/some other equipment mod, and when I unsheath/sheath my weapons, the ring/the headgear/the piece of equipment gets unequipped!
This happens because the piece of equipment in question shares the same BIP slot as one of the two slots used by this mod. Thankfully, there's an easy fix for this built right into the patcher: In the "Other Options" tab, there are two options for customizing the BIP slots this mod uses. Generally, the first alternate set to try would be 47 and 57 - if other equipment still gets unequipped, change until there are no conflicts with your other equipment. You have to rerun the patcher to make the BIP slot change take effect, however.
Every ring I equip magically transforms into a left-handed ring. This defeats the purpose of the mod since I can now only equip left-handed rings. Is there a fix that you're aware of?
I have another quick question. In your folder 03, "Interface" folder, you have "Sky UI" which contains the config.txt file. In my Enderal Data folder, I have SKSE and a config setting file named "SKSE" that contains the conf settings, rather than a file called conf.txt. Doesn't seem like placing the new config.txt file from your mod would alter the current SKSE config file. Am I misunderstanding something? Thanks for your patience!
Yes, you are confusing "skyui" with "skse". In the Enderal Data folder is although a folder named "interface" with a few sub-folders, one of them "skyui". There is already a "config.txt" delivered originally from the game. You can copy the folder "interface" and not the file "config.txt" to your Enderal data folder. That gives you the right path and Windows should notify you for overwriting an existing file. Walk blessed!
