Nice looking adventure. And to think, she could have just gotten a job farming.

This is from one of the bigger ruins quite early on in Enderal. I never got very far with my character - this one - in the first installment of the game, so I can't say how large they will appear in size later on in the game. The atmosphere in this ruin is tremendous though and every room or chamber tells you bits of a story. Not by writing, but by sheer level design which is one of the reasons Enderal feels truly unique and special.

The character is more of a hunter type, although she hails from a nation with lots of rural farmlands, forested highlands and snowy mountain peaks. Her home village is almost on the border of being "barbaric", because technology and advanced civilizations haven't reached the regions of her realm yet. A simple girl, picking up her bow, steadliy getting more experience as an aspiring adventurer. Ah, the life of it!

Your character looks very believable, and the armor suits her very well.
According to what I see, I like that LUT (maybe sometimes it is a bit blue).
And it's not the first time that I notice, that spiderwebs are very 'photogenic', especially in combination with light . And this one is a wonderful still life, with these bluish lightspots. But this picture is my favorite - the 'glowing' of the pots and the webs are wonderful (although it is obvious, that there must be spiders somewhere-igitt).
This is a great picture of a horrible scene.
    Thank you again!

I can easily say, I fell in love with this character the moment I made her for the first version of Enderal. She has changed a bit since then, become more adult looking and experienced, but I love her just the same. She's also a character I've written quite a lot about in my Swedish texts, so I've always had a special bond to her I guess.

It's funny that you mention the blue tint, because this LUT is very heavy on brown and grey normally. I believe you've already notcied this in another reply to another set of mine. Enderal does change the LUT's a bit though and I've also come to tweak my shots a bit since the use of Film Workshop in Fallout 4. Sometimes it changes the tints all together, as with this LUT within interiors. It's quite fun too!

I really appreciate you picking favorites. It means a lot, since I post so many images at the same time. Often I hear the sets are a bit too heavy in amount of images, but I also try to scrap a lot of them before uploading. Normally I land on 20-30 images which I feel is alright.

      Thank you very much!

These shots are magnificent! Love the lighting on each, the angle, the climax. Absolutely brilliant creation here.

Thank you so very much for this lovely praise!

I admit though, I do like this particular set as well. It's one of those sets were everything just worked and the ruin itself that I visited in these shots does bring a tremendous atmosphere. That helped too of course...

Two more sets from this forgotten dungeon is coming...

Great shots! I don't recall which ruin this was but it really came out nicely. I may need to look up some of these hair physics for the first time.

Thank you very much, Wade! This ruin is located pretty early on in the game, once you pass the bridge from Three River Watch on your travel towards Riverville. Just after the bridge there's a bunch of ruins with some steps and if you climb over the small ridge it's leading up to, you find a "hidden" valley with a small lake. This ruin is in the center of that lake. It's called Old Sherath and is visible on the map too. Very atmospheric place with some creepy and eerie chambers. More to come from that place later on...

Yeah, I've started to become a bit obsessed by HDT hairs, so I put them to good use in Enderal thanks to this mod. As usual, the hair can fly all crazy sometimes, but the win is getting some images with a sense of movement and it looks really cool just walking around with your hair swaying. I'm often using HDT cloaks for the same reason.

Great adventure/travel set in your wonderful style. I can‘t remember that I was inside this dungeon in my first old game version... I will put it on my to-do-list for this Enderal

This is the character I first made back in the old version of Enderal, so I'm trying to follow her steps a bit since I had to restart her save. She went to this old ruin quite early on without really knowing what to expect. I had a lot of luck last tiem I was there, so we'll see how it goes this time. So far, so good, but the true evil really starts at the lower chambers and she's still on the top level. I didn't use any ENB for the first installment of Enderal, but since I do now, I'm blown away by the atmosphere in some places. The only "flaw" is that I can't stop myself from taking screenshots...

Yeah, I love these hairs with physics. As I've told you, I switched hair styles for all females and sometimes I find myself stare at the moving hair of my character when she walks around in the world. I do have a thing for long silky hair though!

      Many thanks, Heike!

I love characters with rough and hard features. torn from life.
Write the fight in your pictures. You are one of the best picture authors here.
I allow myself to say: fewer pictures and just choose your character.

    Respectfully, from your friend Claudia

You're always free to speak your mind, Claudia. I know you mean no harm or disrespect, and therefor your true opinion is well worth listening to. I also understand some of my sets can get a bit heavy on images, but that's because of two things:

Firstly, I love taking images. I did so a lot even before I started playing computer games at all, so when I can do the same within fantasy worlds, I'm in "heaven".
Secondly, ever since I started my screenarchery, "travels and adventures" is pretty much what I've done. I tried writing a few stories too, but even if I like it very much, it takes too much time to get it all right, considering I normally write in Swedish. So therefor the pictures will have to show the story and I like showing image sets like this. I'm actually more of a landscape guy than a character type too, but since I do write a lot of novels, I love seeing the characters from my own worldspace, that I write about "come to life" within this game.

I also like rugged characters with scars, dirt and hard days showing in their faces. I like beautiful characters too, but I do try to make them realistic. If they're inside an old dungeon, they're due to get dirty from old dust, bloodstains and mud. I prefer showing this even if some characters can appear pretty sometimes.
This character in this set, is my first I did for Enderal back when Enderal first was released. I had to start her adventures all over when the Steam version got released, because the old saves weren't compatible with the new version of the game. Maybe that's why you don't recognise her? I have only shown her in Enderal sets before, because I never took her preset to Skyrim. She was very cute and younger looking in the first version, but I've changed skin textures - and style - since then, so now she looks a bit more mature, yet still not old. She's one of my favorite characters from my writing as well.

I do appreciate you being honest, but I can't let go of my "visual story" style. I like capturing landscapes, objects, characters, battles and details from the world we see. That's what I love doing while playing, so I will continue doing so....and, I did scrap almost half the images I took for this set! It was nearly 50 at first...

Thank you kindly for another beautiful song and promsie me you will always say what you think. I believe you will without me telling you, but I was not offended in any way by you speaking your mind, dear Claudia. No worries!

      Finally a man with ... OO ...(-;
Sometimes the number of good pictures overwhelms me. Maybe that's just me.
Hey, even if I'm not up to date, your ENDERAL pictures tempt me to try it. Is it really as good as I always hear it?
The pictures say yes. Mmm ... not yet at the moment, but I'll try it in due course. Thanks for the pictures.

      Thank you!

I've actually heard a few others say too many good images in my sets make them less appealing since they kind of disappear among each other, so I fully understand your point of view. It's mainly my own fault though, because I take so many shots and therefor I also want to include them to make the travel/adventure complete. I'm still trying to be harder on myself and scrap more images, but sometimes they just get to me and I don't have the heart to delete them.

Enderal really is as good as they say, yes! I can promise you, that the moment you set foot in the open worldspace (there's a short linear prologue first) the landscape design will mesmerize you. It actually comes very beautiful as it is too without the use of any ENB. I use it obviously, but if you want to play it Vanilla, it sure looks more beautiful than Vanilla Skyrim.
Upon this, you can add the possibility to travel around within an entirely new realm with it's own unique history and culture. The main quest is a very dark one which appeals to me. Even if you don't follow the main quest intensily - I don't - you can always sense that somber mood in the world around you. Dialogues are great, voice acting wonderful (in English at least, since the original is German which should suit you perfectly), side quests are interesting...and again, the feeling of exploration is breathtaking.
Further more, the level up system is fully reworked. You don't automatically become better at something like in Skyrim. Instead you earn Learning points that you spend on skills you want/need to build your character. In this sense, it's a lot more like the classic RPG level up system from oldschool games, so I feel right at home. It also makes the character build more careful, because you need to find books to use these Learning points. You can't just add them to the skills, so it puts you in a place where you need to decide if you want to use the earned points as soon as you find a skill book or save those points for later and the books you really want. This in turn makes the whole low-level character build a lot more interesting, because it can take you a while to find what you really need. I love it, makes the game harder of course...and without spoiling too much, the difficulty of staying alive gets even more intense since you can't auto heal. Food gives health back, as does sleeping, but magic healing comes with a twist...

If you decide to try it, pick up the Steam version instead of the old one. It's free for download and you can run Skyrim aside it. The first release didn't let you do that. It's also more polished with fixed bugs and grammar...and it comes with added DLC and a new story questline.
Since you play Morrowind occasionally, maybe you play Oblivion still too. If so, there's actually a "first chapter" to Enderal called "Nehrim" made for Oblivion. I haven't tried it, but you can dowload it here if you're interested. You don't need to play it to start Enderal though, but I assume it's quite giving anyway since it describes - and takes part in - your homeland. In Enderal you start as a shipwrecked stranger.

I warmly recommend Enderal and I'll do my best to bring up more images to "sell it" even more for you...

      Have a great day, Claudia!

This is a fantastic, dark and forgotten ruin near the start point of the big worldspace of Enderal. I remember I took a sidetrack to this place when I first played Enderal and the location was reeking with dusty gloomy evil. This was the character back then, and since I had to re-start the whole game with the new Steam version, I brought her there once again. It's just as spooky as I remember it...and I haven't reached the deep parts yet!
