FPS BOOST For Higher end Video cards and 1440P and Below Resolution.
has to be set to ALL HIGH profiles in graphics settings!!
AMD Recommended RX 6700 or above
Nvidia Recommended Rtx 2070 / Rtx 3060 or above
Can be ran on Gtx 1070 or Equivalent as well and see good gains, but won't see as much gains as Recommended

I made a Performance tweak for Elex 2, but Originally Recommended to have a higher end card like a RX 6700 to a RX 6900 XT. For Nvidia, Originally Recommend RTX 2070 or above, but have had people with lower cards have decent gains. Seems like the more powerful your GPU is the More gains you could see.
You can try it with a Gtx 1070 or equivalent as well if you like, but remember the GPU needs to be able to run the game normally at all high settings decently or you might not get good results.
* I have had some feedback from people with a GTX 1070 having good FPS gains.
** You must run at 1440P or below resolution, it does not help at 4K resolution I'm afraid. You must also set all settings to the HIGH Profile. This is how it works, it uses the HIGH profiles presets. Don't use a mixture of HIGH / low or HIGH / med for example. You MUST set everything to HIGH that can be set to HIGH. If you change settings in game and resolutions, make sure to quit and restart the game.
On a 6900xt @1440p am getting 70-100+ fps at the bandit camp everywhere!

I have a Readme in the download with very detailed info. You drag the data folder to your Elex2 Directory. ** Make sure you backup your Default ConfigDefault.xml to some different directory for example on your desktop.
**This is not for lower end machines as it uses the High Presets.

This completely Disables Shadows to those previously complaining about shadow popping on previous versions.
HUGE FPS increase.
On a 6900xt @1440p am getting 70-100+ fps at the bandit camp everywhere!
-100-125 FPS at the Snowy Settlement
This is my final FPS tweak for this game. There is nothing else that can be done currently to gain FPS boost like this. It's either use these tweaks or play with default .ini settings. The Devs of ELEX2 may never fix the performance issues in the big towns. We shall see. I may do other real mods / scripts ONLY IF mod tools come out. There is really nothing to support here so I hope many of you can enjoy this tweak. Have fun.
**For Higher END GPU, If you want to gain more view distance and sacrifice a few FPS you can edit the config.ini with notepad look for ViewDistance="1" and change it to ViewDistance="2" or ViewDistance="3"
