The visual effect granted by sunglasses remains active after sunglasses taken off. Works for 3 sunglasses types (highlight items, highlight life and highlight machines). Allows to activate all 3 sunglasses effects same time. The effect could be disabled only after mod removed (you should equip and unequip sunglasses after mod removal to disable effect).


1. Installation

Unpack file from the archive to data\pack\ folder inside your Elex install folder.
Steam path example: D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\ELEX\data\packed\m_2_sunglasses.pak

Optional step: you can also unpack m_8_sunglasses6 to the same folder to use High-tech sunglasses mod (use it at your own risk).


2. Usage

There are 4 types of sunglasses in game. You can combine effects of the 3 sunglasses types (highlight items, highlight life and highlight machines). After you unequip sunglasses it's effect remains active so you may use helmets and other items while having that useful sunglasses effect.

You can also use m_8_sunglasses6 optional mod file to modify High-tech sunglasses at your own risk. The modified version of this sunglasses adds +1 to Sixth-sense ability while you keep it in your inventory (you don't need to equip and unequip it). But keep in mind that in some cases you may lose the Learning point invested in Sixth-sense ability prior to mod installation or get some other undesired effects. The rules is simple you get +1 to Sixth-sense ability when you pick up the sunglasses and -1 when you put it to container. So you should not have High-tech sunglasses in your inventory before m_8_sunglasses6 installation (place it to some container and save the game before mod installation).


3. Uninstallation

Remove file m_2_sunglasses.pak from data\pack\ folder inside your Elex installation folder. To remove sunglasses effect after mod uninstall you should equip and unequip sunglasses again.
