NOTE: This is a heavily modified graphical overhaul for ESO, hence there will be some frame drops / stuttering especially if you run Hook64.

For those with very low end computers I recommend using ULTRA REAL LIGHTING AND COLORS [MORROWIND EDITION] as it is a much lighter SweetFX 2.0 preset with minimal performance impact.

    Update:
1.4b I've removed depthhaze and AO because they were very performance impactful. Now there is minimal impact on your framerate, maybe 1-5fps depending on your system.

1.5b I've lowered the draw distance in Hook64, I'll be uploading a performance friendly version in the future.

    1.7b CC city works now.

1.9b Summerset ready, new DoF adjustment and "fake lighting" effect. Video tutorial was added, Home key to toggle DoF on/off.

2.0: New lightroom shader added, Hook64 updated.

    -------

If anyone is good at taking screenshots I'd really appreciate any of this in action on highest settings. Just send them to me and I'll add them to the thread. The screen shots on both sites are outdated.

My UI is slightly over saturated and blurry. How do I fix that?

There is but it's not worth me releasing with the preset. Google or go to reshade.me and look for UIaway shader, it'll let you pick and choose what you want to make non-blury. It has issues with transparent hud in my experience so you may need a ui addon like the oblivion ui. None the less it's a real mess and a hassle to do. Everyone has slightly different UI anyways so even doing so for my release wouldn't work for everyone.

Hey WhoCaresomg74, nice work. I'm using 1.9b right now, just wandering when 2.0 will be ready to go.

    Thanks for everything so far!

It's already up, you'll have to go to ESOUI or update hook64 manually if Nexusmods doesn't allow the updated files to be uploaded. The virustotal scan picked up some false positives and nexus automatically denied the file I guess. I'm not sure who to talk to about fixing it, but I can prove it's a false positive if need be.

      Right now.

Edit: It appears the file is flagged as false positives, if mods are concerned they can reverse engineer the file or contact me directly. Else for the time being download the preset version and Hook64 manually.

Could be an issue with latest patch, but it hook64 still works to my knowledge however the fog isn't removable as it's being fixed atm. Check to make sure you have all the dependencies and you're using DirectX with ESO.

I can't seem to disable the fog. I know Hook64 is installed correctly, as I can use its other features. Any idea what might be causing this?

Does this still work after the newest update to ESO? I've tried to activate it through the Reshade menu in game and it isn't working. I'm sure I have all my files in their appropriate places.

edit: I eventually got the Graphics Extender to work by re-downloading Reshade and checking all of the shaders during the install.

Yep you're wrong. ZOS separated the draw distance from Player draw distance.

Just wanted to pass on, I went to the recommended site for Hook and when I extracted the zip Windows Defender identified a Trojan malware. Don't recommend using Hook based on that! :(

Perhaps it is something legit, but did give me a good feeling to say the least.

There is an update for the Hook64 but I haven't included it/updated this file yet. I can confirm the version hosted here and on esoui are safe. I cannot vouch for the new update but I'll go ahead and download it then check if anything happens outside of what's expected to happen.

Most likely the issue is over protective anti-virus. The file hooks into processes, which is likely the cause.

I don't have me recent character I made when I run the Hook program. Any way to get them back, or is that a small loss?

Hook64 does nothing to your specific character, it hooks into the ESO.exe process from the start.
