About this mod

Early drafts of various concept presets designed to transform the game into a new experience.

Basically, my messy workshop.

Anything you find here needs work, don't recommend using. This is just for investigation / editing yourself.

Pilgrimage of Avallac'h - Zireael

This game's colour palette is uninspired and lifeless. Everything is dull-grey, hues are uniform and minimal. It's boring. I want to feel like I'm part of a high fantasy world, with vivid landscapes and tones, and the base game just doesn't offer this outside of a few select areas where such contrast has been deliberate. All this does in the long-term is recurrently remind the player that the majority of the game is a visual snorefest. Most Reshades aren't much to my liking either, never really accomplishing theme and mostly altering saturation to achieve some semblance of life. Playing safe on the variation to sneak around anything too strong or too ambitious.  It's quite sad, because I know the art dpt. works hard as hell by the concept art, but in realizing their stuff it has to be said that something really is just getting lost there. In my opinion, the limited colour palette is letting them down.

Not to say anything I make is going to do any better. It's not, but in recognizing the problem and working towards it, maybe my little progress can inspire someone to take bigger steps.

Why are the INI names for some of these weird?
Elven Eminence was the original name of a WoW inspired Resahde I was working on. Yes I'm still interested in making a WoW inspired Reshade. Just rename it yourself if it bothers you.

Thanks to doodlez for his amazing Daybreak for ESO, included in Avallac'h and more to come. This wouldn't be possible without it. If you like anything I make, please download and endorse his work before mine.

*Going to stress again that this stuff is just proof of concept for the moment, any presets I put up here are reflective of ideas. They'll look ugly or overblown in some conditions and nice in others. If I end up making something balanced that actually achieves a sense of adventure / spectacle, I'll upload it separately.
