Lets not forget other mmo's that are free to play give you a mount FOR FREE, with no special limitations nor downsides, there is nothing that can justify the fact that elder scrolls sells horses at huge prices above normal goods prices, and that characters move slow on a huge distance of land? it does not take a genius to see this was set up to force players to buy a horse or slack forever, and considering you can buy a horse with real life money, ones again, It does not take a genius to see what they are playing at here.
in Elder scrolls online a horse costs easily 800-1200-more, and enemy's slain give you 1-2 gold, bosses the same, so yeah, your argument is invalid, its a rip off scam.
people can defend ESO all they want, in reality it will always be a game that rips off its players and leeches of the popularity of the original game series, SURE I would have loved to have a online elder scrolls that would do honor to the elder scrolls series, but I can't change the fact of what reality is, I'm just saying what is, not what I want it to be, or fantasize about it should be. Reality is harsh.
btw, Angry Joe is not a saint, but out of all the reviewers at least he has the balls to say things the way they are instead of lying about it to gain favor of the company's the games made or promoting bad games or simply (like most reviewers) living in a world of sugar and rainbows where even horrible games are super good even if they are less worthy then a old board game. Angry Joe is not gaining views course idiots think he is a saint, he gains views course he speaks true and realistic, and won't lie about a game, nor overlook things simply to be "nice" every game he reviewed up to now was exactly the same as when I played it.
Aside of that I am standing to his opinion on ESO too, close your eyes if you want to, it won't change reality however, and if you are easily pleased then fine, play it, but a long time elder scroll fan can't possibly enjoy this (note I said "fan" not long standing player, but "fan" as in sombody that enjoys playing elder scrolls)
Even if I would have been forced to play this, I would give it a full week or 2 before I get sick of it, wherever it would be at simply being like a generic mmo, or simply course it lacks Elder Scrolls flair in a Elder Scrolls game.
Especially considering I can play other mmo's for 5 months before getting sick of them, normal solo games for 2 months, and Oblivion up to when Skyrim came out (2 years) and Skyrim itself simply untill I got sick of it (3 years)
Elder scrolls is simply that good of a game that it keeps you entranced while playing it.
I won't say the game is the most horrible game ever, but I can hardly claim it lives up to expectations ether, and nobody in there right mind will deny its a money milker while it never had to be one. There are enough points where you could Praise Zenimax for doing well, but the problem is they failed in every aspect they had to focus on.
