they should have put way more time and effort into the actual game and pve, not to mention NOT blow half there budget on a 3 part super HD trailer, and instead spend that money on game content.
Ive seen some walktrue's right now and even the quests are painfully boring, if it were not for the voice acting it would have been impossible to play it,
I said it a full year ago, and still say iit now, this game only exists to beat money out of the pockets of people who know the elder scroll series, giving it a bad name.
even if this thing gets free to play, i doubt I would be able to play it longer then a month before taking the CK and burning it after breaking it into 15 pieces. I honestly never hated a game with such passion. Only simply for the reason that this game is a money beater and a BAD adaptation of elder scrolls. if you would play this without knowing elder scrolls, and a few months later somebody would tell you to play SKyrim, I bet my behind that person would never pick up ESO again after starting in Skyrim.
I mean lets be serious, if they were not going to put much effort in anything PvE and elder scrolls related, then they should just have made a full PvP medieval and magic online game, at least then nobody would have been complaining as it had everything the PvP fan would ever desire without insulting the elder scroll franchise and fans.
more atmosphere that ESO needs, but unfortunately thats probly not possable for them, i wish/hope they make the game more gritty and grim in places, and make the players in ur area less so ur feel alone more. its not worthy of Eldar scrolls ur right, but it is worthy as Eldar scrolls Online
aside of that ESO is simply a money beater no mater how you look at it, I would hate it even if it were not a elder scroll game simply for the sake that in my opinion every company that only lives for money beating should be shut down and the building burned.
you don't seem to get what I mean by the boring quests so I doubt you really play the game, or at any rate are simply new to the elder scroll universe, as you would obviously have noticed the lack of immersion and "make belief" aspect of ESO
Elder scroll games always keep you thinking "this is a real world"
ESO keeps reminding you ever step you are still just playing a game and the world is imperfect.
for example, people complained in Skyrim a "war" only had 20-30 npc's running around, well ESO claims 2 daedra running in a city is a " Daedra invasion " geesh seriously.
your example on the shards of Wuudwrath, when you go look for them your quest also branches into "let the leaders of the silver hand live or masacar everybody" as well as the possibility of random quests triggering when entering there,
if in ESO however you are send somewhere to recover something, you will ONLY go there to recover something, your quest can't expand, you don't get a moral choice or a personal choice nor do you find anything that can trigger another quest, thats what I meant by painfully boring.
there are already enough greed consumed company's out there as it is that sell low grade products for insane high prices, we don't need another of those.
Aside of that this is elder scrolls we are talking about, not some back watered game company nobody ever heard of,
Elder scrolls deserves a fine/decent mmo, Zenimax failed to provide that, and even has the guts to ask so much money for a game that does not even give you the standards free to play games give you for nothing at all.
Overall this would still despite being a elder scroll fail, still be a good or decent pvp game IF they would not be beating the money out of people's pockets just to give you the basic experience to start with.
