There's a version on nexusmod without the watermark (Elden Ring Map - original ripped from game - upscaled and optimized versions)
I wouldn't take to optimized or upscaled version but the original, because there are artifacts/it alter the artistic direction of From Software (artifacts and different contrast)
Without noting in any of the patch changelogs, they have made additions to the map (added roads, buildings, lakes etc) while also removing redundancies (buildings, lakes roads etc that didn't have a counterpart in the actual game world)
Have you gotten a new file to reflect the changes, or is this vanilla?
A better rip might be doable from https://mapgenie.io/elden-ring/maps/the-lands-between (which is, lets be real, far better to use than the fextralife embedded map)
It is a better rip but when I tried to find the map tiles for this one, I couldn't. Right now I'm looking into ripping them from the game files directly but I have other things I need to do so I don't know when it'll be done.
Can you update the map which have " Armor\Ashes of War\Bosses\Consumables\Flask Upgrades\Key\Locations..." like WIKI map. OR Can you get the map from this WIKI? WIKI
This map is from that wiki but the icons are overlayed separately. If I were to do this I would have to place each marker by hand which I don't want to do. So sorry, but no.
I can show you how to get them yourself if you're using a Chrome based browser.
Open this link to the interactive map. Press ctrl+shift+i on your keyboard, this will open the chrome developer tools. Under Sources>Page open the following filepath, this path contains all the map icons:
Right-click the one you want to download and select "Open in new tab". Save the image from your browser.
It would be nice if it wasn't covered with watermarks. Zooming in on any of the lighter colored areas reveals them. Maybe someone will be kind enough to edit those out or rip a version without them from the game.
I've extracted the game files and found the base map pieces but the ones I've found are incomplete. If i'm able to find them all then I'll upload a watermark free version but it's kind of a side project and I have other things to do so no ETA on that right now.
If you haven't already you should probably post on the NM forum and upload to it the media section in full quality to download as well if possible, because this will get taken down from the mods page. Although I don't like how they let up reshade presets as "mods" in a mod category flooding the games mod section with poorly titled config file presets. You can't even post item ID codes as resources on here. They took it down claiming it wasn't a "playable mod" after 600 downloads so not like it was a stale resource nobody wanted. More wanted than half these peoples presets. Hesitant to upload my AHK script that simply keeps the mouse in the games window when on borderless/window mode and automatically puts the cursor inside the game when alt-tabbing since a lot of people are having this problem because its not a "playable mod"
