This mod turns the colors of the Helphen Steeple's Ruinous Ghostflame into the violet purple color similar to the description of the Grave Violet. Though this will also affect other skills that coat the weapon with ghostflame like the Spirit Sword's. Done as an experiment with sfx color editing and because of surprise that nobody has ever thought to do this before.
Installation: 1. Download the main sfxbnd_commoneffects.ffxbnd.dcx file 2. Drop the sfxbnd_commoneffects.ffxbnd.dcx file into the sfx folder in your modengine2 mod folder. Create the sfx folder if not there. 3. Launch the game with launchmod_eldenring.bat
Merging with other sfxbnd_commoneffects.ffxbnd.dcx files: 1. Download the loose fxr files 2. Find your desired sfxbndfile and unpack it using a program like witchybnd. 3. Go to the effects folder of the unpacked files and copy paste the loose dcxs to replace existing ones. 4. Repack the folder by opening it with the same program used for unpacking. 5. Drop the merged file into the sfx folder and launch the game with launchmod_eldenring.bat.
