This mod is actually designed to make an Archer playthrough more enjoyable, but it will still be a challenge to beat the game.

THIS MOD REQUIRES MOD ENGINE 2: https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases
Download the files, and bring all the content from "Ranged Weapon Revamp for 1.10" directly into the "Mod" Folder in Mod Engine.
(NO NEED to actually replace your game file directly)
After that you can launch the game using the "launchmod_eldenring.bat" exe.
What's this mod about ?
Essentially using a big stick to hit target.
In this mod, you'll see a lot of change regarding all ranged weapon using ammo.
I've worked a lot to make sure that those changes are the most "Balanced".
PLEASE READ WARNING DOWN THIS PAGE !!!
Basically :
- Slight Change on base damage for some Weapon (fairly still close to Vanilla)
- Change on Special weapon to be more diverse arsenal. (Crepus's crossbow doing Holy damage, Red branch shortbow doing Fire damage, Etc...)
- Ash Of War for all ranged weapon (Some AOW were buggy so i did not made them available)
- Affinity for all non magic Bows (And the Arbalest only for the crossbows)
- Increased Projectile Velocity for all range Weapon and AOW
- Increased Drop amount for Beast bones (Both), Flight Pinion and StormHawk Feather. Aswell has Ammo drop amount for ennemies
- Reduced Buying price For special Arrow and Bolt (not Large Arrow and Large Bolt)
- Changes on ammo base damage type (increased in general)
- Increased Poise damage and Guard Stamina Damage for all Fletched arrow, bolt, and "normal" arrow (not the Bone ones)
- All Shortbow, Longbows, Crossbows and Ballistas can now be enchanted or buffed by greases or Incantations/sorceries with VFX !
More Detailed :
Loot :
All Bones, Flight Pinion and StormHawk Feather will be dropped with 5x its base amount. (eg: Goat will have chance to drop 5/10/15 Thin Beast Bones instead of 1/2/3)
All Ammo Type drop have been increase by 3. (most of the soldier who were dropping 5 arrow now drop 15)
Craft :
All ammo type have requirement have been reduced to 1. (eg: only 1 Thin Beast to make 10x Bone Arrow, instead of 3
Economy:
All "Special" (Fire, Thunder, Poinson, Bleed etc...) arrow and bolt prices have been reduced. (not Large Arrow and Large Bolt)
Equipement :
Max "light" ammo who can be carried up to 100. instead of 99 (yeah ... sry i needed it) (Test did begin with 250, but it was way too much and kinda OP)
Large Ammo type are stick to 50.
Arrow sting talisman now upgrade Arrow/bolt dmg by 20% and stamina Dmg on shield by 20%. But will increase Stamina cost for firing by 20% aswell.
Arrow Reach Talisman is still increasing arrow distance by 65% but will also increase all Scaling while using Range weapon (This change happen in the attack, no directly on your base damage, so you wont see change until for fire a target directly).
Arrow Changes :
All Bone type arrow/bolt have been upgraded to the base game standard stats. (Bone arrow have now the stats of the Base Arrow)
All none Bone arrow/bolt have now more damage.
Some functions change on some arrow :
All base and Bone Fetched Arrow/bolt have now poise and guard stamina damage. (they were insignificant in the base game.)
Shattershard, Stormwing Bone Arrows have now High poise and guard Stamina damage to make them more Shield breaker efficient.
aswell as explosiv and Meteor Bolt.
Rainbowstone Arrow and perfumer bolt is not dealing black flame DoT.
ALL ammo type have now 2x its base and max Velocity (including AOW). It make the arrows/bolts feels way mor natural but its still easy to miss at mid/long range.
Bow Changes :
Upgrade/change on all Scalling stats + base damage increased for longbows, Greatbows and more neutral change to shortbows.
- Shortbow is the basic base weapon with mid Str/Dex Scaling
- Misbegotten Shortbow is more Strength oriented
- Composite Bow is more Dexterity oriented
- HarpBow is now dealing physic/Thunder damage
- Redbranch Bow is now dealing physic/fire damage with a Faith Scaling
- Longbow is the basic base weapon with mid Str/Dex Scaling
- Horn Bow is now dealing physic/magic damage with an Intelligence Scaling
- Eardree Bow now dealing physic/Holly damage with a Faith Scaling
- Albinauric Bow is High Dexterity Oriented
- Serpent Bow have slight better scaling on Dex (compared with Longbow), but start with Barrage (Instead of Mighty Shot)
- PulleyBow is more Strengh Oriented
- Black Bow is basically a mid Way between Longbow and Shortbow.
- Lion GreatBow is now dealing physic/magic damage with an Intelligence Scaling
- Golem GreatBow is more Strengh Oriented
- Eardree GreatBow now dealing physic/Holly damage with a Faith Scaling
- GreatBow is more Dexterity Oriented
All Bows can change of AOW and Affinity ! (Some AOW may be doing some weird funny things)
Sadly it is impossible to add Status effect on bows cause they are not actually dealing damage directly. Status will stay Arrow related
Crossbow Changes :
Upgrade/change on all Scalling stats.
All Crossbow have now a Dex Scaling and some crossbow may have another one
- Soldier's Crossbow mid damage.
- Light Crossbow have a better range and Dex Scalling, but have slight lesser damage.
- Heavy Crossbow Have slight higher damage damage
- Crepus's Black-Key Crossbow have now Physic/Holy dmg with small Scaling on Faith
- Full Moon Crossbow have now Physic/magic dmg with small Scaling on intelligence
- Arbalest is the only Crossbow that an a different Affinity. It also have higher damage and scale on Dex+Strengh
Note : All AOW will give you the choice of affinity, but it will have effect only on the Arbalest.
All Bows can change of AOW and Affinity ! (Some AOW may be doing some weird funny things)

Ballistas Changes :
Both have now a small scaling on Str/Dex
Ballista have higher Damage
Hand Cannon Now Have Physic/Fire Damage
Others :
Incantation Flame Give me Strengh is now 60s instead of 30s
Incantation Black Flame Sword is now 10s instead of 7s
you can now use incantation/sorceries/greases buff on all range weapon.
Know issues / Q&A :
Status Effect on range weapon will only trigger if you it the target with the actual Weapon (with AOW for eg.) Excepted with Incantation and greases.
Some AOW may be cluncky, i've only made numbers change, not a full inner mod. The fact that all of was possible is already a miracle.

WARNING :
If you want to get rid off this mod dont forget to remove ALL AFFINITY CHANGE on range weapon. Otherwise, once the mod gone, those weapons will disappear from your inventory with their linked AOW !
If you've made this mistake by accident (or not) you can use the GrandMerchant Mod to add back what you lost in your inventory.
