i have a problem were everything works perfectly except for the enemies not being randomized. ive tried old and new versions of mod engine 2 and the randomizer but cant seem to get it to work. does anyone know anything else i could try?
Hey guys. I'm able to randomize items and use the misc tab perfectly fine, but for some reason enemies are not randomizing at all despite trying to run it multiple times. Has anyone run into this issue before? I'm very new to trying to mod stuff so I'd appreciate any help.
for everyone who wants to use randomizer with clever's moveset pack :
adding regulation.bin from moveset folder and adding moveset mod to toml file wont work alone. randomizer will randomize shops and you cant access weapons. but they are in game. I didn't notice any new weapons in first playtrough so i think randomizer wont add them to item slots and drops. A really easy workaround is to use grand merchant dll mod. get weapons from grand merchant. for accessing real kale shop with randomized items just disable dll. grand merchant wont break the game as far as i know.
Hey everyone, I'm running into an issue with rune drops. With my current settings, normal enemies (which are randomized) are giving me very few runes - often less than 100. Even when I encounter late-game enemies/bosses showing up in early-game areas like Limgrave, Liurnia or Caelid, the rune rewards are still very low - usually under 300.
I have both the "damage/health scaling" option checked, and the "runes change when boss changes" option checked as well, but neither seems to be making any noticeable difference in rune rewards. I also tried turning both options off, but that didn’t help either.
Even in late-game areas, the rune drops are still extremely low - most of the time still below 300, regardless of enemy type or difficulty. For example, I fought Consort Radahn in the place of the first encounter with Loretta, and only received 15,000 runes for the kill, which feels really low given the boss tier.
Is there something else in the settings I should be tweaking to fix this? Or is this a known issue with certain configurations?
Other than this issue, I really love the mod! It adds a whole new layer of fun and unpredictability to the game. Huge thanks to the creator for all the hard work and continued support!
Completed my first randomzier today. Firstly thanks Fifthmatt for the incredible mod. Watched Aggy, Domo, Skumnut, Bushy Starochris and many more before and happy I finally got to play it. Though I had to use the spoiler log because I couldn't progress the game without the fingerslayer blade. No idea why it isn't an important item.
I couldn't progress to Mountain tops or Snowfield because: Rold - Mohg's boss arena Haligtree medallion right - One was in chest near Rennala Discarded Palace key - In Ainsel river Pureblood medal - Mountaintops
So I needed to use spoiler log to find the fingerslayer blade. Was in frenzy village near the big eye so after hours killing other checks, I'm glad I looked. To me I think fingerslayer blade should be an important item.
Only other thing of note was I had Gideon as the 2nd boss in Godfreys arena and he was dressed exactly like him which was very funny.
hey, fingerslayer blade isnt a key item because you can get to ainsel river without it. in deeproot depths there is a coffin you can ride to the ainsel river, which is next to the grace closest to where you start climbing up to fia's champions. it's right on the edge of the cliff past the grace in the water
so you only need to fight the valiant gargs or sewer mohg, gain access to deeproot and then ride the next coffin. no quest item needed
