If you change the weapon's absorpParamId to 25 (greatsword) then the weapon's scabbard is moved to your back and you reach the blade from your back as well, just like in the games
Would you be open to porting other content from Twilight Princess? Was mainly thinking about the wooden and ordon sword, for a themed playthrough where I swap weapons upon completing certain main bosses :p
Thanks. :) I replaced the Wing of Astel with it. I wanted the straight sword animations but the curved sword one's are still fine with this. The noise it makes while swinging isn't desired but the heavy attacks fire lasers just like the Master Sword does in the games, so that's cool. :)
hallo! i started with Samurai and changed the model numbers to 0550 (uchigatana) and put them in modengine 2 mods but nothing has changed. i also did the same with the shield to replace red thorn shield (2108) but nada. did i miss a step? these two are the only weapon mods i have
I can't for the life of me find the longsword weapon id anywhere in the list included. I think it might be the empty space 633. I'll check. I think it might be 200 actually... I'll check.
0200 for longsword. Vagabond class starting weapon. Replace the Vagabond set with with Link and the Heater Shield it starts with to the Hylian Shield and you're in business for a great starting character

1. Can you use this mod to replace great-swords or only Straight Swords because i can't seem to.
2. I'm also think of trying my hand at doing this so can you point in the right direction?
