What exactly does the mod?

  • Changes breakable game assets to explode when anything touches them, dealing 20% of the max HP of anything caught in the explosion radius.
  • Removes Rune skulls, tumbleweeds... And instead, explosive crystal assets can now randomly spawn in open areas and Legacy Dungeons.

Installation:

  • Download and install Mod Engine 2.
  • Unzip and drop the regulation.bin file inside the "mod" folder of Mod Engine 2.
  • Run launchmod_eldenring.bat from Mod Engine 2 to play.
Note: The .csv files are only needed to merge the mod with other mods.

Compatibility with other mods:

This mod is not compatible with mods that change the following:
  • Any of the modified rows in AssetEnvironmentGeometryParam (too many to list here).
  • Any rows in RollingObjLotParam.
  • Row 99999999 in AtkParam_Npc.
  • Row 99999999 in BehaviorParam.
  • Row 99999999 in Bullet.
  • Row 99999999 in SpEffectParam.

Merging with other mods:

If the other mod does not have a regulation file:
  • Install the regulation file of Explosive Assets as normal.

If the other mod has a regulation file:
  • Install the other mod with Mod Engine 2.
  • Download DSMapStudio and run it.
  • Click File at the top menu and then New Project.
  • Write anything for the "Project Name", select the "mod" folder inside Mod Engine 2 for "Project Directory", select eldenring.exe inside the Game folder for "Game Executable" and then click create.
  • Click Param Editor at the top menu tabs.
  • Click AssetEnvironmentGeometryParam once in the left column, then click Edit at the top menu -> Import CSV -> From File... -> All.
  • Open the AssetEnvironmentGeometryParam.csv file.
  • Repeat steps 6 and 7 for RollingObjLotParam, AtkParam_Npc, BehaviorParam, Bullet and SpEffectParam with their respective .csv files.
  • Click File at the top menu and then Save Params.
