    FAQ:

    • My computer says this is a virus! - Antiviruses hate DLLs for various reasons, and will mark third-party DLLs as viruses basically at random.
    • I'm playing the game on Linux using so-and-so, will your mods work? - Yes, the mods should now work on Linux.
    • Will using mods get me banned? - No, you cannot use these particular mods unless EasyAntiCheat is disabled and EAC won't retroactively punish you for disabling it (I can't guarantee that it won't react to altered saves).
    • Can I play online with mods? - As stated, you can only play with these mods if EAC is disabled, this forces the game into offline mode.
    • Can I use this mod with this-and-that? - Most likely, you will have to test for yourself. Just make sure you don't have other things modifying the same memory (Flawless Widescreen, etc).
    If you have any issues, then please comment below with the contents of log.txt for the relevant mod(s).

    I think the game uses vertical FOV for the adjustment rather than the traditional horizontal so that's why at 90 degrees it looks a lot wider than many may be used to seeing. Here's the conversion for those interested...

    Vertical FOV to Horizontal FOV (degrees)
    48 = 76
    60 = 91
    80 = 112
    90 = 121

      Yeah I was thinking the same thing too when I found out the default was 48, didn't seem right for horizontal.

    Hello! So first of all, thanks for your mods and your mod loader, it's been good being able to actually play the game in an ultrawide resolution.

    Anyway, though, you may remember me and a few other people mentioning crashes on the Mod Loader page. Originally I posted it there, as I didn't know what was causing the crashes; however, I've done some experimentation and I think this mod is the culprit. However, what causes the crashes is something oddly specific and weird.

    Basically, the game crashes when trying to save while the camera is looking at a culled but loaded mausoleum. It may in fact only be the two jumping mausoleums, which is why the crashes only consistently happened in northern Liurnia.

    Anyway, I couldn't get the game to crash anywhere else with this mod, or in the affected area without this mod. So, hopefully this will help you and give you an idea of where to look to fix this bug.

    I'm on current patch and I'm using Disable Rune Loss, Increase Animation Distance, Remove Vignette, Skip the Intro, and Ultrawide Fix, and my game has been unpacked and patched with UXM.

      I experience the same crashes in Liurnia using this mod. Atm I'm at Bellum Church and it's reproducible when I sit down at the site of grace and stand up again -> game saves.

      I did some more testing and noticed that it only crashes in combination with Ultrawide Fix. There seems to be a Problem with those two.

      Hey jdc997,

      i experienced the same crashes in Liurnia around those 2 walking Mausoleums. In other regions it worked fine, not matter how far I scaled the FoV.

      I only use Disable Rune Loss and the FoV.

      Did you find any solutions to the problem yet?

      I want to look into this, but I haven't played Elden Ring in a good while and I would actually need to progress to these spots in order to test for myself... I will look at it if I get to it though. I'd also appreciate if you guys could check if you experience the same issues using FlawlessWidescreen, EldenRingFpsUnlockAndMore or er-patcher (they all have FoV extenders and black bar removal, and the patching techniques should be almost the same).

      I had this same problem. Had to lower FoV to 60 for that area. 65 and 70 still produced crashes.

      Not sure if this is still being looked at, but same issue is still occurring in northern Liurnia only.

      Any news if those crashes are still happening and if the mod is compatible with the most recent update?
  4. If I am getting a popup "Could not find signature", what does that mean?

    Can we also zoom in on the camera so that the character is at the same distance?

    Helloo, I don't know if there's support for this mode, but I tried installing this mod (after installing the UW fix which works perfectly) but something wierd happened.

    I'm using seamless coop and item randomizer, but when I install these files as detailed, when I load the game, it picks up my original saves (not the ones from randomizer/seamless coop).

    I remove the files and it picks up my randomizer/seamless coop saves.
    It's weird because I installed the UW fix and it doesn't change the saves.

    I don't know if this is a known issue or it's just the dll that changes something that the other mods don't like

    Would it be possible to also add an option for zoom? The camera gets kind of far away from your character on the higher FOV values.

      I just tried it now and it did, I used a pretty high number at first to make sure it wasn't me imagining things, and it definitely increased the fov... but I did only test it for a minute as I'm still in the process of setting everything up.
