About this mod

Don't have the time or the patience to Git Gud? I got you covered!

Oh, Elden Ring...! There are mixed feelings about this game. To some people is piece of cake, to some others is hard and unbalanced as hell. I'm not here to judge, but we can all agree that the damage spike it's insane at a certain point in the game. Either way, not everyone has the time or the patience to actually master the gameplay, So here's where my mod comes in aid. What does this mod make? It's easy!

By default, it will lower the damagetaken by enemies and conversely will boost the damage you deal, while also increasing the runes amount you get. Mind you, though: even though this mod is designed to make Elden Ring more accessible to a wider range of people, who otherwise wouldn't have the patience to even try to play the game (and that's totally fine) I strongly encourage you to play without this mod, at some point, and to actually master the game by normal means. In the end it's up to you; what this mod does is just to give an easier kickstarter.

So, what does this mod offers, exactly? There are three difficulty presets to chose, namey Easy, Very Easy, Ultra Easy. Each will modify your game as follows:

-Easy: +25% runes gain, -25% damagetaken, +25% damage done
-VeryEasy: +50% runes gain, -50% damagetaken, +50% damage done
-UltraEasy: +75% runes gain, -75%damage taken, +75% damage done

All the above changes have been carriedover to every NG cycle, keeping the same balance of the main game. Which, in other words, means that if an enemy did 100 damage with a sword strike and gave 1000 runes upon dying, while dealing 200 damage and giving 2000 runes in NG+, if you use, say, the ultra easy version of this mod that same enemy will inflict 25 damage and give 1750 runes on standard game, and will deal 50 damage with 3500 runes given upon death in NG+. Same goes for NG+2 onwards.

HOWTO INSTALL

There are three methods, as always. Thefirst and most recommended one is to drop the regulation.bin inside your ModEngine 2 folder, which typically would be located inside your Elden Ring root folder, where the .exe file is located. For example, mine is at

E:\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDENRING\Game\mod

The second method applies if you haveother mods installed that make use of regulation.bin file. In that case you will have to download DSMapStudio and import the ClearCountCorrectParam.CSV file provided with the download inside your regulation.bin file. For reference, you can use this excellent guide made by clevererraptor6.

The third and deprecated method is yojust drop the regulation.bin provided by my mod inside your Elden Ring main folder, where the eldenring.exe is located. If you chose this method, please, for the love of Marika's tits, make a backup first! I will not be responsible for any issue caused to your game and/or save file if you neglect to take a proper backup. You have been warned!
